the yoyo lube im using (can’t mention the name because of forum rules) is not performing up to my expectations so I was wondering what is the best lube yall have tried, the one-drop lube looks really good.

I personally use OD V4M or Dark Matter. V4M is your traditional thin lube but it’s thinner than YYF lube, and if you can get it with that needle tip top, it’s easy to get a small bead in that works well after break in or “hyperspin” with canned air. Dark Matter is basically dry lube suspended in isopropyl alcohol. IMO it makes bearings spin gud but it’s not gonna make them quieter. You also gotta be sure you shake it before using it and keep an eye in case the isopropyl is evaporating as you don’t want too much of the dry lube in your bearing.

I don’t use liquid lubricants, I clean the bearings with dry hydrocarbons and then I lubricate only graphite powder.
