What Is THE Best Budget Non-V Bi-metal?

Might have to go BST route if you want the best Non-V Bi-metal on a budget and just go with the CLYW Gorge; @FourCorner has a nice one

The only possible way to improve the Hummingbird would be to re-release it in a cherry red (solid) colorway.

I am going to restate the Stealth here to match the original Title of Budget. IMO, the Stealth is the only BUDGET nonV bimetal. Especially when buying used.

Don’t forget the bimetal Superstar, which is H-shaped and the same price as a Stealth.

Oops, my opinion was wrong…ok there are two…lol!

i’d go for stealth. $50, round.

@G2_Jake, sorry to flood you bro, just saw this post and throw looks :fire:. Since it was posted in March, has this been released yet? I’m sure I missed it, that’s my arrangement with your drops. They drop… Then I get off work. Or Bryson wakes up #Dadlife

V3 is here. I love it. Sending it to the competitive players to make sure it’s everything they want

I’ve heard great things about the Topyo Dominator. I have the Superstar and the Stealth and I prefer the Superstar over the Stealth.

Not sure how you’re defining “best” here but my personal favorites:

6061 Vulfgang
Toybania/YoYoEmpire/Polytwist MachinaTion
Vosun TiPowerX
2Sick Grandmaster

my friend has a space cadet, I really quite like it.

Yeah, probably from me mostly.

I seem to be the only one singing its praises. I think that’s probably because at first glance it doesn’t look like anything special, and so folks mostly just ignore it. But man, when you play it, you won’t believe how something so light and speedy can have so much stability at the same time. And at $70 it is an absolute steal.

Bet it up

Have you tried the Overdrive Draupnir yet? Curious of your thoughts on it.

No, I haven’t tried one of those. Looks nice though.

Stealth
Kitana
Apathy- might not be available
Twilight Phantom- wide as an Edge
Edge
Orbital
Firrox

There’s a lot of options. Check Expert and YouTube for a Review, then pull the trigger.

KnotCreators IceWoof is $80, not V shaped, and pretty small. I got one from a kickstarter, but pretty sure there are still some for sale.

This is probably dumb but the engraving—plain-looking text right in the middle of an otherwise clean cup—really turns me off for whatever reason. I’ll see the Dominator, go “oh man that looks cool and check out that ano and—“ then see the engraving and just close the store tab.

MagicYoYo does the same thing on some of their throws. Turned me off to the 6061 Vulfgang until just recently.

I should just buy the Dominator at some point. It really does look like something I’d like. Maybe if I find one on the BST or on sale.

I feel the same way about many yo-yos. An otherwise beautiful design is spoiled by some unattractive and unneeded engraving. I rarely find an engraving improves a yo-yo.
