ThrowButcher

33 y.o. blue collar Georgia native. Served 4 years in the Army from '04-'08, 3 years in 3rd Ranger BN as a tabbed Airborne Ranger, with final year of service with the 1st Army Experimental Task Force out near White Sands, NM. Have AA in Psychology, working on my RN degree which had to be put on hold when my son came along. Got back into throwing about 3 months ago when my 4 yo daughter found my SB-2 (which I bought when I was 12 I believe) at my parents house and brought it home for me to show her how it worked. And the rest is history. I’ve stuggled with addiction and other war-related issues since coming home, and as wild as it sounds, throwing these toys around and learning trick after trick is some of the best therapy I’ve found. Thanks to everyone here that makes this forum possible, especially @CodingHorror who just mailed me out a yoyo for no reason other than to do something nice. Thanks guys, sorry for the rambling but I feel if you have an idea of my past you’ll possibly better understand my appreciation of finding a therapeutic hobby with a community of, so far as I’ve experienced, nothin but good guys.
