Welcome to the forum! Favorite Metallica album? I can never pick between Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning myself.

i love early metallica. master and ride are flawless albums in my opinion, but i’m not a huge metal head in general.

I feel the same, I like some metal here and there but most of the music I listen to is psych rock or electronic. The metal I like, though, I LOVE it. Metal has to push all the right buttons for me to get into it.
