I can’t see it without the string off…

Mine resembles more of center track bearing look than an actual v shape.

Hmm, okay… :man_shrugging:

Yeah… That’s pretty subtle. I wouldn’t be able to tell that was a new design.

Wouldn’t play create the same effect?

That’s exactly what I thought looking at the pic. Kinda like distressed jeans. But hey, if what he did was an improvement, then cool!

Very subtle but plays a LOT different/better imo.

This is the side-by-side comparison he posed on IG. The left is the old way and the right is the new axle. As others have said, the walls are slightly tapered now where they used to be perfectly parallel.

Hey everybody! Is there a 0A trick ladder I can find anywhere? I’d really like to do a video series starting with basic stalls and working my way up to some classic bangers. I’d appreciate any help or suggestions!

Check out the vids in the OP.

What do you people want in a modern metal responsive? Do you just want something very responsive for your typical 0A tricks, or do like something that you can use that is balanced for 0A with a few 1A tricks thrown in?

I like having it both ways and being able to control it by adding thick lube. High walls are kind of a must too.

This is my expectation. I mostly play wood fixed and Highwall Unresponsive. So when I’m playing metal responsive I’m looking to get more spin than I get from my woods. Pocketable is key to, I also favor slimlines. .

That Delrin you made me is perfect. A metal version of that would be sublime.

Maybe with an A bearing, but I have no complaints with how this plays with the 1/2 spec C. Even though I usually prefer the A bearing for reponsives, this is my favorite responsive bearing yoyo.

Here is the 100K Combo Challenge Linda Sengpiel does on an early Flambeau Duncan Butterfly, a 10 trick combo. Time Code Set.

I prefer 0A style metals. Lighter, small bearing, and high walls. My current dream yoyo is basically the Custom Reactor with Weekender/Daytripper guts. And since it’s a dream yoyo I’d add a delrin cap flush with the outside edge like the Rotor, to make it more comfortable in the pocket.

All I really want is a light metal responsive that plays like a fixed axle yoyo.
