Started my 0a training with stalls…and I suck at them. It’s OK, though! I’ll get there! Excited to toss this Butterfly around. Such a different feeling going back to a fixed axle!

What’s your review on this one?
I like it a lot. Always a bit of a gamble with any wood throw, really, but this has been real nice for laid back fixed axle play. The edge is pretty abrupt so it has a unique feel to catch. I very much like the size and shape of it, and I figured at the price point it was cool enough to buy just because it’s a small batch thing, compared to plastic yo-yos and such. So I was real happy to find it plays well too.

Kind of wish I brought my se for travel I miss it.
Appears my old Duncan imperial has started to meet its end. I noticed it’s making sounds and losing spin strange. After closer inspection it appears there’s a crack that’s pushed into the inside that’s catching the string. I’ll see if I can sand down the rough edge but I imagine this is the start of the end. I’ll have to nab another imperial at some point. Maybe two I was enjoying looping this one for a while.
