Oh yes, works perfectly. Thanks y’all. And I nailed another trapeze stall first try after the double wrap.
Also, why am I hitting trapeze stalls 4x more often on the Butterfly than on anything else? Wild.
People discount the Butterfly because it’s an inexpensive plastic, but it’s honestly one of the best 0A yoyos on the market.
Amen!
I been playing more 0a since I got this new fixie. It’s been fun.
Love that! Such a classic looking yet modern 0A trick. This would be a great trick to have in FAF ‘25.
I don’t know if anyone said it out loud, but @Slestak75 got it right in his vid.
The first loop in a double wrap twists in the unwind direction, the second loop in the wind direction. This keeps both loops neat and centred on the axle.
This also sometimes helps on flat bearing unresponsives where binds are pushing the loop to one side of the bearing
Great suggestion contacting Jorge, he did indeed sell me an extra Albrije system! Knock off Albrije next to the real deal that a kind soul traded me for.
Heck yeah! Nicel done !
tks for sharing! thats a VERY fun one and looks rad cool
does anyone know of any POM fixies? i’m thinking it would play smooth especially with something like delrin
No POM fixies that I’m aware of. A Survivalist is a fixed, machined plastic called HPDE. You can rock a blank in a The Thing (Delrin?) or put a bearing lock on a Kasm (PLA)?
i’ve been waiting it out for a yellow or white Thing to pop up on the BST because it does look very nice. i have a kasm in fixed axle mode and it is VERY snappy
My Kasms aren’t that snappy. Maybe try replacing the pads or playing it without the lock?
It’s pricy but Fellhoelter makes a delrin + titanium fixed axle. I’m planning to order one but I haven’t yet because I really want to buy a white one and dye it with ritt dye but throwing a $400 yo-yo into a vat of near boiling water is also insane maybe so I haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
