Hello, my names Hank, I’m in my early 30s but only really started throwing about six months ago. I’m not very good, but I’ve played around with some old school and newer stuff to see what I like.
My coworker got me into throwing, and he sort of helped me build a bit of a collection. I have some older Hyperloops and a BC Rainbow and a Grim Sleeper, but I mainly throw my newer Turbo Confusion and Shooting Star lately, upgrading from the Sage 2 and Arrow, mainly. I’m trying to focus on learning now instead of buying. A friend bought me a light up Rio I can’t wait to use.
I also recently got a 3d printer and tried printing a few, to less than great results.

Hi, my name is Liam and I’m a Brit living in Denmark in my late 30’s 
I’m just getting back into throwing after a 5yr hiatus, but I started throwing back in 2013.
My first throw was a YYJ Dark Magic 2 and quickly found CLYW and OD throws where I fell in love with the Summit. Since then I’ve moved over to throwing primarily G2 (Reaper, Banshee, council etc.) and Retic (Death adder, Asp) throws, which make up most of my current collection.
For now I’m just getting back into the swing of things whilst indoctrinating my 6yr old to throw as a father-son activity

@Liam sounds like you can a nice collection going! I also have been trying to get my sone into throwing, but he’s only 4 now, so you can imagine how that’s gone over the past year and change lol

I’m an Aussie living in the US, you guys have it good here for this hobby!
I started throwing back in 2011, and just jumped back into it again last year after my wife gifted me a new DV888. Since then, I’ve been hopelessly hooked.
I’m currently throwing an unprld Motif, a W1ld Azure, and a SPYY Ronin among others, joined here last year but never formally introduced myself : )

In all the years I have been a moderator, when I have pointed out to people that they have an old account, none have asked for it to be reinstated, preferring the new account to be used instead.

Not asking for anyone, but more so out of curiosity, is there a way to link accounts? Like an alias?
The user directory can be searched for user name or email address.

I am Seb and I’m from Chile, but I am currently living in Germany.
I practiced yoyo a lot back in high school but stopped in 2015 and just at the end of 2025 I went back to the hobby by checking this awesome community. My first yoyo was a yomega fireball and my favorites currently are my G2 Tsunami and my Clyw Akita.
Looking for a yoyo community here in Germany, hopefully around Bavaria as I live in Nürnberg.
