I am only aware of the Spinworthy POM Knack.

The unfortunate thing though, there were only 2 made. Not sure who has the other.

looks like i’ll be sticking to different materials… the dessicator looks awesome but i don’t think i could ever justify spending that much on a single yoyo

also the hand made POM stuff from glen and jon gates looks amazing.

yeah its a very good throw without the bearing lock in it. I just prefer it in fixie mode

I think @Son-of-Morris has a Pom RBC also.

Hildy made the Emmett, may be the first delrin fixed axle. Then Square Wheels made one that I’m drawing a complete blank on the name, but not many of those made it out there.

This little guy, like a White Bloodcell, haha, or a KNick-KNack, but doesn’t have the KN anywhere on it so I’m not entirely sure. I THINK it was when he was experimenting with UHMWPE material. Similar feel but a bit softer in the hand, velvety feel almost, and really durable.

Staring real hard at that beautiful pom knack, I might have found my next 3d print knock off project lol. Printing in pom is a nightmare but I could possibly get a similar texture and feel from polishing a print in the right filament… maybe.

i’m searching for an emmett but it seems that hildy brothers yoyos are a rarity these days

Happy Friday 0a acolytes! Hope you got a good session in!

Dude! How freaking lucky are we!?!? @Jerrod @Ardeus and @edhaponik all gracing the 0a thread with their sickness, within mere hours of each other.

Thank you boys! Some really awesome stuff from all 3 for us to stew over.

I’ve wanted an Emmett for a long time, kick myself for not buying one when I had a chance. I’ve got a couple Hildy fixies still, they’re among my favorite fixed axles.

its a real neat looking fixie but i think its unobtainable by this point

Ya I think that was a prototype Knack. He tested out a bunch of designs with different materials. I have one made from recycled HDPE with a 5mm brass axle. It’s about the same size of the survivalist but predated the Knick Knack.

Sweet, thank you! Good to know. Hard to piece together some of that info from back in the day sometimes.

A RCS Delrin Gamer and a Luftverk blank could be an option.
