Show some wooden yoyos you've made

So if I were to make a yoyo today, a Bloodcell would be the only one people want?

That is, if people even want SW fixies anymore…

Poly versions could be cool… Maybe not as sustainable but I sure like transparent toys… Being able to afford any is a whole different story as well though

They take forever to make.

$500 a piece vanity editions you say?

If I get to pick, it would be a survivalist.
Of course the BC is cool but I find the Survivalist more exotic and cool.

I could easily make a couple of Survivalists today.

If you paid me $500, then sure, I’d make you a poly RBC.

What about a paper mache budget version?

That would be harder to make than a wooden one.

Dang, OK I’ll just shut up then and be happy with my mk1 RBC version. Aesthetic wise I always loved the look of the buttons by the way…

I know last time I posted a picture of my sw harbinger, survivalist and bloodcell on instagram I got a few messages asking where I got them. I imagine if you post there you might get some bites.

I want a bloodcell and a button!

Edit: and maybe a harbinger!

That was your order right @TryCatchThrow ?

That’s what I’ll work on today if I have the time.

There’s also a fixed axle discord I know some folks there would be interested I think your on that one

I’d have to look up if that was my original request. I might have asked for a KNack but since acquired one

PM’d.

I remember s.kon did a throw where he layered origami paper and used I think lacquer or resin to glue them all together and then machined it.

I’m sure it would cost a lot more but that would be really cool.
