here’s my pride and joys if we are showing them. Traded the Aotus for a Dragon Eye Aotus. This is just the MFD. I have others too.

Good morning everyone! I’m Rob, I live in the Tetons and work for a ski resort. I started throwing recently (end of June 2023). I’m still trash but progressing enough to have fun with it. My first yoyo was a k2 crystal off Amazon. Thanks to some awesome guidance from this community I’ve gotten some good yo-yos and started unresponsive a month or so ago.

Just stoked to be here!

My story’s similar to urs in some ways Loved throwing during the 90s boom as an elementary kid. Then picked it back up again right after high school, the farthest I got was learning gondala. Got a velocity which was my first real yoyo. Then took a break and lived my 20’s. Just got back into right after I turned 30 so been throwing again for almost two years now. Definitely the longest I’ve gone and the farthest I’ve gone with the hobby. I’m the last alone my collection went from about 3 yo-yos to like…… honestly it’s gotta be over 30-40 easy. We all have our yoyo wishlists right. Throws of different teirs that you’d love to get ur hands on one day if u ever had the extra money, am I right? Well this year something happened where I came into a bit of “extra money” and let me tell you guys, did I go nuts. In the past 3 months I’ve bought most of my collections. And I’m happy to say that about 50% came from right here the bst! That’s what made me join the forums, and I’ve been ACTIVE! So a few of u may know or recognize me if I bought something from u recently. I’ve posted a few LF POSTS. But that’s about it. I didn’t even know there was an introduce yourself thread. I feel like I gotta post some kind of pic and this is the only one I have of part of my collection. The smaller case was my first hardcase like this and it shows. I didn’t really plan out the throws or spacing well and it looks sloppy. I recently upgraded for the next one and got a bigger size and this one went a lot better. The vast majority of these throws were all purchased in the last few months.

Hi my name is Des. I have been yo-yoing for a little over a year. My favorite yo-yos are the Shutter, Shutter wide angle, plastic peak, Freehand Mini, and the uppercut. I learn from the A2Z yo-yo classes. I mostly do 1A and i do a little bit of 4A and 5A. I am very excited to be part of the Yoyoexpert forums community. Here is a picture of some of my yo-yos.

Hey everyone! Im Sol, 32yo newbie thrower from MA. I picked up a duncan butterfly on a whim on a vacation for some nostalgia and hyperfixation mode kicked in! I quickly moved to a k2 crystal, but what landed me here on the forum is trying to research what yoyos I should pick up next. Im working through just the basics right now. The quick re-wind is killing me :man_facepalming:t2:

Heyo, Spagh here! Started throwing a few months ago when I found a MAGICYOYO on Amazon, and never regretted it! I know practically nothing about yo-yoing, but I’m trying my best! Found this place trying to expand my knowledge, and I’m hoping it works!

Hello everyone and thank you for letting me be a part of this awesome community. Ive been reading post for a while but only joined today. Im looking for some advise. Ive been yoyoing for a little over 2 years and so far i have a replay pro, magicyoyo hertz, shutter, OD Freesolo, OG Banshee and a Banshee 22 that i received today. Ive got a little more money to spend and am looking for some recommendations. I have around 120 to spend and am looking for something new, like a new company altogether. My OG Banshee is my favorite so something different be similar at the same time would be great!

whatsup fam $100 will get you far in this land. Are you more interested in the colorway art or performance? Banshee is pretty competition oriented for a mono metal. so you might want to stay on competition style if you like how good it performs. Honestly on the BST you can easily get an amazing bimetal if you’d like to try that realm. bimetals typically play a bit heavier and have longer spin times. Take that with a grain of salt it’s not every bimetal plays “better” than monos.

My personal fav throw right now is the klondike by CLYW and SUS Yoyo Mechanics. It’s a bimetal that isn’t too big or too small and it plays floaty making it easy to throw it around. its not sluggish.

Motion yoyos also knocks bimetals out of the park. their Perpetual model is very similar to banshee while being totally different and is also a bimetal

heck you could try a banshee SS which is just the bimetal version of banshee

for monos since I know you like G2, Carbine, pelican, reaper are some of my fav monos. If you want to try one of their more bulging models, Wolf is absolutely excellent All of these will be about 100 or less if you go for a solid color

feel free to dm I’m happy to help and send links etc. The BST here is excellent and the FB has a couple great groups as well

Try anything of the Yoyofriends bimetals. They are all super high quality and play phenomenal. Highly recommend the peregrine, vulture, tachyon, or if you want to spend a little more, the pheasant 2023.( my personal favorite).
Can’t go wrong with Yoyofriends though.
