Goodbye old friend...

Just an FYI, in light of some of the responses here, but diving into the middle of the SF Bay wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do. It’s not super deep, but certainly deeper than the average person can dive without gear. The main thing is the current, which can be pretty strong, especially near the mouth of the Bay where Alcatraz is located. That current is one of the reasons why it was considered such a secure prison.

Also, great white sharks.

Yea I hate sharks. Sharks eat people.

I would have thrown the kid in…

Actually did you know you have 1/63 chance of dying of the flu and 1/3700,000 of being killed by a shark? And also sharks kill because they mistake humans with other sea species. Also, humans kill WAY more sharks, so just a little lesson on sharks

Yea but still sharks… Their so creepy

notsureifsrs

The flu stat includes 3rd world countries I assume.

that’s what I was thinking

So tragic

Yeah it is worldwide.

Glad I’m not the only one that thinks sharks are creepy.

Humans kill 100 million annually, so I’d say we’re the creepy cones.

I would agree, but I think we sidetracked this enough  lol

We sure are creepy cones.

that’s a real bummer…

Vending machines kill more people than sharks…seriously…

I’ve seen the way vending machines eye people up. I’m not surprised.

Oh ya. They will eye you up, steal your money, and kill you…

As stupid as it would be to jump in, I feel like I would’ve jumped after it still…
