Word, thanks! I made one out of a weird blended poly/cotton thread I found in my junk drawer. The thread was really thick itself, so I could only do like 2 wraps before it got 2THICC
I had the opposite problem. The silk was super fine; I had to do 28 strands to get it thick enough.
Ballsy at work.
WOAH! My silk was definitely a thicker guage then. I’ll have to try it again for giggles.
A yoyo!! Haha no it’s a kestrel box, I work at an Aviary!
oh that’s really cool!
Thanks! It’s a lot of fun
Man, that old stuff of mine is so unrefined, haha!
I’m mostly just digging that bird standing next to the box.
Glad you’re enjoying the Knack, @Exmime, from the fixed axles I’ve seen you posting, you look like a man of real taste.
Ha! If there’s a factor bringing down the refinement of my throwing it’s not the equipment
This older model doesn’t play the same as the KNack or Harbinger, but I like the variety.
Has anyone tried a TMBR Morrow yet and how do you like it?
Morrow is good
Was debating getting a Morrow, but then Fallen44 made some Crows that I could not resist. Should be in the mailbox after work! For now I shall punish my knuckles with the F44 Tiny-Jo CW and my @Glenacius_K Ballsy.
Hello!
Lately I have launched again with a fixed axis! I have been making friends with this spinworthy Urchin for several hours
Every time I launch it I like it more!
it’s like we have known each other for a lifetime!
I am not an expert on a fixed axis, but it gives me good feelings and encourages me to continue launching it (!)
I’m happy, it makes me feel good when I play it: that’s the important thing
No matter how many fixie’s I try, I always end up going back to this one. The heavier weight, along with more even weight distribution make it a super smooth and stable throw. Nothing like these old laminated Apollo’s! Except maybe the spectra-ply Eh’s, but I haven’t had the pleasure of trying one yet!
