Couple of weeks into Febuary now, playing this crispy Legend Wing from the latest batch. Always  breaking these in, enjoying the process.

First time I’ve been able to make these in color and fitting for Valentine’s Day. 56.2 gram one piece fixed axle, 3d printed in 60% stainless steel powder + red plastic.

I printed it. The design is inspired by the No City3D B.A.D, in that it is both Big and a Diamond.

This is the weight that it was inspired by.

If you want one you can feel free to DM me.

Favorite of my Butterfly for the last day of Fixed Axle Friday

I love the looks of mine - but can’t get consistent response no matter the string I try.

EDIT: Apparently I’m forum challenged today. LOL! I was trying to reply to MinerJ because I have the same Butterfly - but the first one didn’t look like it was a reply so I tried to delete it - only for it to stay but say deleted. And then I replied - and now both show as replies. I should stop using the forum today.

happy friday!!!

in with your reminder that at 11:59 tonight, fixed axle february comes to an end… :frowning:

WHICH MEANS… at 12:00 tomorrow, fixed axle for-the-rest-of-your-dang-life BEGINS!
(tongue in cheek maybe, but pretty please don’t just throw fixed during the shortest month of the year.)

Exactly how I felt March 1 '24.

One year in to the rest of my fixed axle life and loving it. Thanks Ed

can you elaborate? I’m always confused when ppl say this just because i dont think I’ve ever experienced this. i used to not be able to play a butterfly to save my life until it clicked. now it just feels like the way. id love to help you enjoy yours if at all possible

Absolutely. A butterfly was the yoyo that always kept me interested in throwing. Sleeper, rock the baby, round the world, basic throw and catch having a blast.

I’m a 0A novice. So trying to throw my butterfly 0A has me hating it.

Unknown Butterfly - so new mold…
Let me try and explain it this way:

Throw a light breakaway and land in a trapeze stall. Slick it out of the trapeze stall (I’m not even trying to roll out at this point). Hits the bottom of the string and give it a light tug - here it comes back - :100: as expected.

Throw a second light breakaway, land a second trapeze stall. Flick it out. Hits the bottom of the string in a sleeper. Tug and it bounces like an unresponsive yoyo. Tug bounce, tug bounce, tug bounce tug. Oh here it comes…

I’ve tried the cotton it came with, Alphaline, kitty fat, kitty XL, other random string, and I fight the same thing with all of them. :man_shrugging:t2:
