Fixed Friday 2a style! The red one seems like it eats string; I probably have to replace it.

Anyone have other recs for fixed loopers? I figure probably ProYos or Hurricanes?

Those Purgatories are sweet (and also hard to find).

spintastics manta ray and i think tornado, wood axle plastic bodies.

It looks like the Tornado is the bearing version of the Hurricane. I have the Manta Ray and it’s awesome, but the shape is not what I prefer for looping.

I 3d printed my first yoyo today. It’s not Friday but I wanted to share
It came out funky but I managed to get it very playable

I am thrilled to now post my RBC in this thread as I have settled on a fixie setup that I love (bearing blank - 2.8mm gap) and have been throwing it non-stop for 2 weeks! Happy Holidays y’all! :christmas_tree:

What are you using for a bearing blank?

I have yet to try the fixed axle setup for my RBC. I don’t know how to take out the mini bearing without Damaging the yo-yo

I took a 3mm wide mr85 bearing, took the shields off and cleaned it. Then filled it with weldbond glue. Worked perfectly, so smooth, the response is great.

You can use a 5mm drill bit as a bearing tool. But I just gently wiggled it out with some small pliers and there was no damage.

Interesting, I have an extra bearing. Maybe I’ll give that a try, but it just hurts a little inside to do that to a good m85 bearing
