Valentine’s Day was earlier in the week, and I received this very special piece during this Fixed Axle Febuary. A tip to all you married players out there, nothing says I love you more than something in a Tiffany & Co Mint Blue Box. This Sterling Silver wonder plays incredibly simple and smooth at 84 grams, and the tight gap and tapered wooden walls makes it respond with ease. Maybe not the best choice for THE 7 MYSTICAL GATES OF FIXED AXLE FEBRUARY but this plays with a lot of love, I even let her throw it, (over a carpet of course).
Frankenfly today (but I need a better name).
I just opened up the gap a little to try to hit Split the Atom.
Notice the not so subtle crack that runs from the rim into the response zone. I hope it makes it to the end of February…
You could also try sanding/filing down the starburst some to help.
I’ll have to see if I have a file that fits…
84g. Be careful with that thing!
that is why I said it has been improved and had additional ‘features’ lol
Keep you posted
That is the fanciest, classiest yoyo I have ever seen.

Besides for when I’m working on a new yoyo, I’ve been using this one almost exclusively since the start of the year.
I adore those laminate No Jives… just gorgeous!
Were they just advertising their brand?
Tiffany & Co has been making a yo-yo off and on for years. @Paul_Han did these skits back in 2019 as a more recent promotion, he looks to still be active with Tiffany’s marketing as he posted a new story yesterday, however it was geared to the new Tiffany & Co basketball release.
Great friend to take a walk in the woods with. Is the small diameter flat face sanded does or was it a Clean Machine? I have a failed-finish beater NJ that I’ve considered milling but haven’t had the heart.
It’s clean machine I want unfinished nojive so bad
Hey Oscar
A raw nojive is not so hard to come by…I can heartily recommend!

My mother used to work in the banking industry and did a lot of traveling with a variety of banks. She must have brought this back from a conference once, i found it in my collection and thought nothing of it. But it’s a great Wooden Fixed (i just discovered this since taking part in Fixed February). I think it’s a BC Apollo that was repainted for marketing. Guess i wasn’t the first guy to give out wooden yoyos to clients
