I knew that 60% off was too good to be true
The Flambeau folks were extremely quick to cancel my order when I asked. So props to them for that.
So… They don’t really want our money? What a strange company.
I too caught the 1$ charge and then nothing. I’m usually super patient, but two full weeks, a week after they got my updated CC info and still nothing? I have 0 duncans in my collection and was stoked to try some, but now I can’t say I’ll ever own one. Communication goes a long way and having to comb through Facebook or YYE forums is unacceptable.
@bjardin what’s happening? Are these orders still in the system? If so when will the orders be filled and shipped?
If it’s such a mess, why not just cancel all orders, make sure the system is ready, and then run the sale over another weekend?
I haven’t even been contacted LOL. I just sent an email to cancel . Not worth the effort.
Same here @bjardin . A $1 charge showed up today for me. That’s also a good way to trigger fraud alerts on some bank credit card accounts and have their card shut down until you call, or worse, have to have it replaced. It’s looks like a ‘test’ by a thief or hacker to find out if a card is active before a larger amount is run.
I was told a week ago that my orders were able to be processed? Guess not.
After what seems to be 100 emails I got my order Sunday. Have yet to be charged yet. I guess i’ll be charged when Jesus returns. I’ll have to tell my water company to not charge it when duncan magically wants to charge my card hahaha
You really just have to stay consistent with them emailing them. I emailed everyday for a week and a half.
Ironically, emailing a return response drops into Duncan’s spam, even from a direct email from customer service. At least in my experience.

Anyone ever see the show The Profit with Marcus Lemonis? Duncan needs that guy lmao… someone should sign them up for the show cause I haven’t seen a customer service fire this bad in awhile
Do any of you here know if there’s been anything on Facebook? I’m not really active in any communities over there, just checked Duncan’s official page and the last post was announcing the yoyo day sale. I seem to recall hearing that folks were talking about it in one community or another but I just wondered if anyone’s heard anything outside of the forum.

The fact that there is STILL no update is actually quite astounding tbh… when there’s a customer service disaster like this you GOTTA be the FIRST ONE to reach out to your customers to let them know what’s going on. No one should have to wonder, ya know? I still want my order but it will likely be my last Duncan for the foreseeable future cause this has left a pretty bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. Hate to be so harsh but at this point, it’s needed.
I’ve order like three times from them and it’s wonky every time. The other two were just insanely slow shipping times
They have flat out lied to me more than once…I will never do business with them again.
The last email that I’ve gotten from them yesterday read:
"Hell Edward,
Shipping has fallen behind on sending out the yoyo orders. Please know yours is in the que and will ship out soon."
This was after I received a second invoice on the 16th with a ship date of the 18th.
I don’t know how they could be so far behind, even after a computer issue.
It really seems like their direct sells is not exactly a priority.
I think the takeaways here is that Duncan isn’t the priority. Flambeau is a huge corporation and I imagine Duncan makes up a small portion of their business. Doesn’t make it better though
