Nah bro thats wild
It usually got them to stop
I mean…there’s not really much you can come back with at that point.
Except a fist.
Let’s use our minds, shall we?
So headbutt? Obviously joking in case it’s not obvious haha
Yeah, if they’re a fragile little man, that might be their answer.
I think, mostly, they were just jealous and bewildered at the fact that I could pull more tail then them dressed like that. Ladies (and dudes) really like confidence.
Edit: I just remembered OP said they are 13. I didn’t find confidence in myself until, probably, closer to 15. At 13, I remember wishing so bad and trying so hard to be like the other kids. I’m very glad I eventually realized they weren’t actually the cool kids.
And, even now, the confidence has a tendency to waiver.
Whoa. I was saying that the bully will respond to your implying he is hitting on you - by hitting you.
Colloquial “you”. Not you you.
Fixed it. Language is weird.
Do people even think about this saying? Has anyone heard of wars? Those solve questions that are not solvable through dialog. Once the question has been solved - the war is generally over. So saying violence is never the answer is clearly not true.
Morals and actual good tips
HeAD BuTT
Caution - A head-butt can be fatal. This is not recommended unless you plan on going to jail.
guys, this is a conversation about helping someone with bullying. lets not turn it into a boxing ground for ideologies and half-hearted jokes.
Further reinstate that not caving into them…last year at work (I work at a theme park), I was out doing something while park was open…had school groups in the park which is usually never a fun sign as it brings out the rowdy bunch. I had a group of teens approach me in a mocking tone “hey, nice sunglasses! (was wearing some cheap no-name glasses) can we ask you a couple questions?”
Meanwhile I see a phone out. I initially try not to be rude and ask what’s up, trying to just guest relate. Moment I see the phone go up and they begin to ask me stupid questions and ask if they can record me, I quickly buzz kill their moment by saying “nope we are not doing this… sorry got things to do” and walk away. They were looking to see what they could get out of me likely for their social media shenanigans. But they got nothing aside from me walking away back to an employees only area.
May not be exactly bullying but it’s still dealing with people trying to make themselves feel better by getting reactions out of others.
Tanjiro style
That’s crazy! Kids are awfully bold these days. We would have never thought to try anything like that. I guess social media brings a whole new dimension to the equation. What they don’t realize is that they’re only recording the proof to get themselves in trouble.
@Scoogy has the situation gotten any better? Have you tried any of the suggestions that the community has laid out?
Yeah I told my assistant principle. It’s getting better and he got suspended for being a dummy, so I don’t have to deal with him for a while
Was the suspension related to your situation or something else? Glad it’s getting a little better
Not really, but its part of it. Hes been really rude and disturbing during class and swore a bunch in front of the teacher. His group also picked up all my stuff during homeroom and moved it to the girls’ side. My classmate also sprinkled a bunch of salt and pepper onto my food and now we have beef. Everyone wants to start beef with me just because they think its funny and they think they’re cool. Like i was just playing soccer, and one of the kids was being super dirty, and he was being a jerk and saying stuff like “yeah marco u see that? I litterly crossed u up bro like”, and i told him to shut up, but it didnt work. This is like the only place where I get to tell people about how much my day sucked, and how much people. Forget about me. And sometimes its not that people do stuff to make me mad or annoyed, its that they dont do anything to interact with me. Like, today i had my stem fair project, and me and my classmates were talking about how it went. I said that it was one of the longest direct conversations i had, and then one of them said “Bro, i talked to reece like for an hour straight”. I told him about my situation and he felt pretty bad for me, which made me feel a bit better knowing that people care and know about me. It sucks, sure, but at least its not anything major anymore
