She’s a beauty. Sucks that the week these dropped was the week I was away on holiday but I’m sure I’ll grab one eventually.
I agree about the small runs though, maybe it makes them sell better, keeps interest etc, or maybe they’re just difficult/expensive to make so they do smaller runs to avoid losing money. Either way, I can’t wait to hear more of your experiences with your Draupnirs. =D
Are all yyr boxes the same size? If they are you can probably get a look at the specs with those pictures
Dazzler is based on the Stargazer so guessing around 54mm, weight i’m gonna say 65-67.
My guess is 66g, 57mm diameter, 43-45mm width.
No, I talked with friend who trid Dazzler at worlds, it is not fullsize, smaller between 52 and 54.

Maybe they’ve done bigger runs, and are putting them up each time they assemble a large enough batch to start taking orders again. I am hoping some are out for anno as we speak, as I am waiting for some color. Not a big fan of red, but I like it more than raw.
It doesn’t seem like too long ago that you were having trouble deciding over what your first throw should be Rob. Doesn’t take long for the addiction to kick in does it? I keep telling myself “just one more… then I’ll stop”… 
I do like a good raw yo myself, but it would be nice to see colour. I agree, I’m also not a big fan of red throws, so it’ll be nice to see what else they have in mind.
If they ever release a blue/silver half and half Draupnir, I’ll probably be kissing another $200-ish goodbye. A nice emerald green with black rims would be pretty sweet too. It’d be interesting to see whether they can get the ano on the stainless steel rims to match the body.

It seems that whilst it can’t really be “anodised”, it can be coloured, however it seems that it’s a tricky process and looks like you’d need to hunt out a specialist who had the skills required.

Yeah, the addiction is strong. I am resisting the $2k in new throws I want to buy right now, as I need to fix the drainage around my house and insulation around my fireplace before winter…

I just returned from Japan and nobody had any idea whatsoever when the release will be, and what will it cost? They are playing their cards very close to the vest on this release for whatever reason.
I’m pretty sure its $500!
That’s well and fine NathanC, but sadly all the YoYo vendors in Japan have all been told contradictory prices and differing release dates by YoYoRecreation, which has resulted in everyone being a bit confused about this particular release. This is a very different scenario on how they usually operate.
When I asked Hironori at YYR about the Dazzzler, he responded by laughing at me…which was a very kind way of saying “I have no idea”.
If anyone’s interested in a Triplet or a Messiah, I got them.
Mostly interested in a Blink, Slepinir, Stargeryser, and the Draupnir.
Finally returned home and was able to take a few shots of my new Draupnir.
Without any doubt the Draupnir is the finest YoYo produced by YoYoRecreation. As much as I absolutely love my Gleipner, and the Attune, they pale to the Draupnir.
This YoYo can only be called a “Home Run” IMO. They hit this one right out of the park.
