Yes it has. So has the Stealth Ogre review that I posted a while back.
There is a common theme here:
Someone posts a message about an innovative throw from Japan.
Fanboys of Domestic American manufacturers start posting off-topic, critical; often personal posts about anything negative they can think of about the yoyo or the person involved. Basically, anything to change the subject into something negative rather than positive about the item or manufacturer.
Original thread members become defensive and post-back.
Thread has now been de-railed in favor of Domestic manufacturer quarrels, rants and raves; all about anything but the original topic.
We should start to notice who these people are and stop responding to their nonsense. I shall do so now.
I can’t understand why people complain in this thread. It’s a thread about appreciating yoyorecreation which is a brand I loath over every day. :o I am in love with their throws. ;D
But seriously if you want to complain go to the i hate Japanese manufactures thread.
Hope you guys enjoy your Draupnirs as much as i enjoy mine! I think it’s really something super special and unique, can’t wait to hear your opinions when they arrive!
Played with a Draupnir today. Has an odd feeling as it plays super light but still has the stability and spin time of a much heavier yoyo. Really encourages you to fling it around. Very impressive throw. Might try and pick one up, though hopefully future runs will include anodized versions.

Hard for me to say as I haven’t thrown the Sleipnir all that much. One thing I did notice is that the Draupnir actually felt smaller, even though they have the same dimensions. Could be due to the shape or maybe it’s just me.

I would think its due to the Flat steel rims
The sleipnirs step on the V shape is in the middle, almost directly between the rim and response.
The Draupnirs, upon inspection of the picture, looks like the step is placed further out. That causes a more H shape. And the denser rims could also effect the feeling of the yoyo in the hand. The density may cause it to seem more compact, if that makes sense.
Popping in now being a yyr owner. Have a 09 sleipnir that is just blasted. I got it in a trade but its beat and was stripped, but luckily the power of landon balk fixed this only with the problem of having to make a through hole in the hub:'(. Still an amazing yoyo and I will be picking up another yyr soon so my sleipnir isn’t lonely with being surrounded by one drops

mhhh … unfortunately it is not always the case.
My order, made on June 28, has not yet arrived in Italy … 10 days have gone by … ???
Are you sure customs is not holding it? From what I’ve heard, Italy is incredibly difficult to send ANYTHING to.

yes, I’m sure,
the other three shipments arriving at customs in no more than 5 days and was visible from traccking of the Japanese postal service.
There are no problems for shipments to Italy, arriving in customs upon delivery spend a maximum of 3 days… the USPS instead, for my personal experience, for the international shipment, has many inefficiencies… extremely slow service and tracking is not working …
I had worked out a sale with someone else from Italy and I wasn’t able to ship to him because it was ILLEGAL to ship to Italy because the yoyo wasn’t “wooden.” Has this changed or hopefully there is some way to bypass this?
Obviously there is no stipulation from Japan to Italy. Strange that relations between our countries’ postal services remain flawed.
