That’s interesting. Is your concern being scammed, poor workmanship, or something else?
Well if people do it with cars, I dont really see the issue doing it here…
I mean, he dosen’t have an official credentials for yoyo modding, but hes pretty well known around here, and I’m pretty sure if he goofs, you would get a reimbursement.
Wesley doesn’t goof. I’d say he’s the best PC’er we have. Very detailed and cares about what he’s doing.
Agreed. He’s currently coating my 5th and each one is spectacular.
You should see my GITD new Agonist…
I saw it on the Facebook group. Looks amazing.
Got this in the mail yesterday !
Incredible throw
The Fragment and Uragment are some of the greatest yoyos ever made imo.
Its so … I guess zippy, I almost can’t keep up with it most of the time
I don’t know I’d just feel nervous. Even if I trust him I would still have a funny feeling about it.
I sent Wesley my RSL for polishing… I know that’s not the same as powder-coating, but that guy is legit.
He’s good. He prides himself in his work. If he isn’t confident about a job, he’ll straight up tell you that.
I thought this thread was about yoyorecreation, not advertising other people’s business.
…And the conversation shifted to a YYR that someone wanted serviced. Is it really worth being confrontational?
Quick, without clicking tell me what happened on page 50? 120? 200? No?
The conversation diverges from YYR all the time, and always circles back around. This one was mostly on-topic. You won’t remember it in 3 months and yet this forum topic will survive and thrive.
Powder coating questions belong in the yoyo modding section, not the yoyo exhibition section.
Well then, lets circle back around. Does anyone know where I can find detailed differences between the Original Sleipnir and the 2014 version?
Watch out for the YYR thread monitor!
They’ve smoothed out the steps on the catch zone and given it a very smooth feeling finish/ano. Apart from that, the stats are identical I believe; play wise I see no real difference, but that isn’t really a bad thing considering that the Sleipnir is one of the best yo-yos there is.
Personally, I prefer the new Sleipnir to the original. They’ve taken the old one and just made it nicer feeling in the hand. Also, the blue ano absolutely glows… it’s beautiful.
Wow, that blue looks amazing! I might have to go see if billy bob’s has them in stock.
Man I really want a 2014 Sleipnir. I have yet to see one for sale though.
For anyone who has owned both, how does the E=mc2 play compared to the Blink?
I have a Blink, and it’s easily my favorite in terms of play, but not stability. I find that it doesn’t spin for very long. Does the few extra grams on the E=mc2 make a big difference?
