YoYoRecreation Appreciation Thread

E=MC^2 is super-stable and long-spinning. I find that the extra weight makes the yo-yo very fast on the string. It is a bit floaty in the air due to its size I think. I like the E=MC^2 more because of these factors. The Blink, however, is a bit of a different shape and fast due to a lower weight. I liked the Blink; at first. But the lack of stability was a turn-off due more to my lack of skill than any fault of the Blink. If I was better, I would probably find the speed of the Blink more compelling,

They’re both the same exact design/ shape… Just different weights

blink and e=mc2 are very similar. in my opinion the main difference between them is that blink always has a speedy feel to it whereas e=mc2 can feel a bit more floaty and while it can speed up, it always seems just a bit slower than blink. i personally felt both were very stable with solid spin time, though there are certainly some full sized throws out there that slightly outclass them in that regard

Thanks for the help. Sounds very appealing. Now to find a cheap one on the BST…

Sounds like the Sleipnir. Now that makes me want it even more. Might even give up my MWB '14 Sleipnir for one (or a few). Decisions, decisions…

I feel the same way. I should practice more.

There is no shelf high enough in my house to keep this away from my toddlers.

Does anyone get the new EYYC 2015 Draupnir?

is there such a thing as red 2009 sleipnir with 1mm response and m5 axle

I have always been under the impression that the only red Sleipnir is the Take That edition

same

8 legged ones are also quite common, one even appeared as the category avatar on billybobsplasticwhip+1
I was told that mine could be from an early 2010 run, which also would have included a few blue ones. This particular one seems to have been traded around for some time already.

How do you like that next level? Really curious about that one.

The rings arent shiny, so i cant say

There’s a new prototype in the works. It’s apparently called the Glutton. Not sure if this is old news, sorry if I’m being redundant.
