I can happily say that I am officially a part of the club! Its really nice and the more I play it the more I like it. Would a or blue anodized one but this plays very well. Only minor negative thing I can point out the it edge of the hub is extremely sharp. So sharp I could probably slice my finger on it relatively easy. Not a real concern but one minor flaw in the design I can point out.
Speaking of I would trade this for a Gold or Blue ano one? Can probably add a little to make it worthwhile. PM me if interested. This is Mint w/ Box btw

I think heâs talking about the raised edge of the hub that says DRAUPNIR/yoyorecreation on it. The anodize makes it not as bad but I think a raw one may be fairly sharp.
I was really skeptical of all the Draupnir hype, but it really is one of my all time favorites now. It almost doesnât even make sense, the way it plays relative to the weight
This is the reason I feel safe telling people how good the Draupnir is. It is the only yo-yo that is actually better than its hype. Words just can not do it justice.
Someone offered a Near mint Valor and Project for my Acrophobia(has a fair bit of damage but itâs all light). What do you guys think? Seems like a good deal and Iâve been looking for a Valor but Acroâs donât pop up a lot so I donât know
While the value is there, acrophobias are so hard to come by. Valors are common, and the project comes up every so often. I wonât tell you what to do but thereâs my 2¢âŚ
âŚbut if youâre not a âcollectorâ and you value the play value of the other two more than your Acro, why the heck not? Theyâre all yoyos and if the Acro isnât doing it for you and you think the Valor might (and it IS an awesome yoyo!) you get a Project at the same time.
Andy has my acrophobia. Even though the Acrophobia is difficult to find, I found that in the time it spent in my possession I spent maybe a week and a half playing it before it sat in my case for a month. It just wasnât doing it for me. I do, however, own 2 Valors (Brown and Gold) and play those 2 quite a bit. I havenât once thought about trading either of them, and Iâve had the brown one WAY longer than I ever had the acrophobia.
A dinged up Acro is not interesting to a âcollectorâ. The value in a dinged-up Acrophobia is in the opportunity to throw one. There were very few Acrophobias made relative to other YYR because of a myriad of issues. The exclusivity of the Acrophobia, dinged or not, is much of the perceived value.
Haha definitely seems like it. But the Emerald looks pretty sweet! I wonder if the matte finish is reserved for only black Draups, though. Thatâd be a shame because itâs an incredible blast.
I think the Emerald Green looks like crap, relatively speaking. Worst color theyâve done by far. Iâd bet money Mickey chose that color as he seems to like gross colors like that.
They released 50 of these and so far it looks like about 6 have been sold, lol. If theyâre putting out a crappy color like emerald green they better put out something good like purple. Hot pink would be acceptable.
And yes, Iâm like 99% sure emerald green version is like every other anodized version but black in its coating. It doesnât have a âmatteâ prefix and looks reflective. I think that reflective coatings look better, except maybe for black because black is not a reflective color.
