On the plus side, I like it a lot. Looks like a shiny red sports car.
It was $200 on ābillybobs?ā hahaha. Did they sell out fast? I think I have only seen 1 other on BST, so Im wondering if they made like 100 of them or maybe only 25, their not numbered so thatās the hard part but I think they are pretty rare, YYR splashes in general are rare for the most part right?
They probably made like 20, and most are in Japan, China, etc. and will never make it to the US. There very well may be only 2 in the US. I had one which I sold which I think is the one you guys are talking about. Canāt believe Yuki let is go for so little. Iād pay $130 in a heartbeat to have one back if you ever decide to sell it, Carsonel. Paid $190 or so for mine, depending on the exchange rate at the time, might have been more, thatās what all the splashed were going for at the time including Sleipnirs, Overdrives, etc. 18,800 Yen or something.
What string comes with the Draupnir? YYR Iām assuming, but what thickness? How many different types do they make?
On another note, Iād pay really well for that splash Attune
I think YYR Polyester
They make 2 types in poly and nylon
Not gonna lie, loving my Bob. So very very awesome.
Iād post pictures, but you can just look at Shaiās. Mine looks the same. =D
The default ones shipped with the Draupnir and Laser are YYR white poly normal.
There are 3 thicknessesāslim, normal, fat, 2 materialsānylon, polyester, and 2 colorsāwhite, yellow. So 12 different types if count colors, 6 otherwise.
I can finally say Iāve tried and owned a draupnir ;D
Seeing everyone getting their 1st or 2nd Draupnir is really starting to get depressing for me :
I know right
Sighā¦ Iāll get one some dayā¦
Still waiting for someone to beat oneā¦
Never gonna happen
āGood conditionā is probably the closest youāll get
You never know haha.
The day someone beats up a Draupnir is the day I get a Jealousy
Iād probably have beaten up one by now if I had kept one
I might be getting a Bob :o
Can anyone tell me the differences from the 2011 and 2013 Overdrive?
Off the top of my head, I think the only difference is that the 2013 version doesnāt have the little hub in the cup of the yoyo. Both play quite similarly (i.e. amazeballs).
Yuki
2013 has a flat hub and is 1 gram heavier
