I grabbed one as well, and Iām hoping that the increase in the gap size justifies the cost.
Iām sure I will love it either way, but I would really like to see what the gap increase does to the play.

Iāll have one of each as well. Thatās why Iām really hoping that there is a discernible difference between the two, or Iāll just end up with two of the same YoYo. Not that it would be all that bad having two Black Draupnirs.

AFAIK I was the first one who bought a Bob on this forum and I still donāt have a damn tracking number. I think YYR processed them in random order or some nonsense and then decided to postpone mine until July 13.
And yeah there are six left that I can locate. If anyone canāt figure out where just PM me. I thought I made it pretty obvious earlier though.
Iām not sure Iāve read anything as far as a review goes from people who have played both the gold Attuned Draupnir and one of the regular gap Draupnirs so looking forward to hearing everyoneās thoughts on the new black blasted one with the wider gap once they start getting into your guysā hands. Makes me a little sad to think that I may only own the almost best yoyo ever now instead of the best yoyo ever but I will take some solace in knowing that I still own the classiest yoyo ever still since the new logo obviously leaves the new one as the almost classiest yoyo ever =P

This is a great day. Not only do I finally have a beautiful black Draupnir, but I have one with a wider gap! My knuckles are saved!
Seriously, if anyone is thinking of pulling the trigger on a Draupnir but isnāt sure, I cant recommend it enough. I spent a few hours playing with various high end throws yesterday, but then when I picked up my Draupnirā¦ itās just on another level. It really is THAT good.
You canāt decide what is better because of gap size. What is better, tighter binds, more spin time and better mid-air binds with tight gap or room for more strings with wider gap? This really depend just on players style.
At Japan nationals, how many people used gold Draupnir with wider gap and how many standard version?
So just because new version of Draupnir might fit better to some players, doesnt mean itās better version.
