That statement is super vague. It could be an attempt to say “MattBlack model that released on 30/06/2014 also has wider gap as [an] Attuned Draupnir.” It’s very common for Japanese to omit article adjectives, which they did here ([The] MattBlack model…) at least once, and the English on YYR is somewhat halting and stiff. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but there’s not enough evidence to conclude one way or the other whether it says “Attuned Draupnir” or “Draupnir” on the yo-yo. The image is clearly the same image they used before. That leads me to believe you’re probably right but they may have just recycled the image rather than taking new ones.
In any case it’s still an attuned Draupnir irrespective of whether “attuned” is used to mean literally “attuned” or as a backronym for “Akitoshi Tokubuchi Tuned.” It’s the same model in a different color.
Well they need a naming convention to distinguish models. I expect either they will label all wider gap ones Attuned Draupnirs or all Draupnirs hence forth will have wider gaps. It would be very confusing for them to release multiple versions that look identical but have different gap widths. Not saying they wouldn’t…I’m just skeptical.
Always regretted missing out on the black Draupnir originally, and the only qualm I ever had with the Draupnir was the grabby response. Bob literally sounds like the perfect yoyo.
Bob has shown up on a certain international site who has 9 at the moment. I bet they purchased 10 from YYR since that’s how many they usually order.
Also the site confirms that we can differentiate between regular gap and wider gap Draupnirs, because the new one has the gross cursive yoyocreation logo on it. There’s still no photo of the other side and whether it says “Draupnir” or “Attuned Draupnir,” but at least that solves the issue of identifying which is which on the BSTs. If it says “Draupnir” then I bet the regular gap Draupnirs are not produced anymore.
It’s the biggest Japanese yo-yo store and one of two that uses English. Also it rhymes with shin fear. Enough hints? If not feel free to PM me.

I preferred the older logo but I don’t hate it as much now as I did.
Oh, and another Japanese site ordered some of these (they’re out) and the google translation of this color/version says “Achoo command drow Puniru Black.” So it’s the Achoo Command Drow Puniru Black Draupnir.
Hmm. I expected worse. Looks good! And if you zoom in on the photo, it shows what appears the other side sporting a simple ‘Draupnir’, WITHOUT ‘Attuned’ above it.
