I LOOOOOOOOVE the Mr. Butcher!! Probably my 2nd favorite YYR throw with first being the draupnir. Very unique feel that is a complete departure design wise, but still maintains the top notch YYR play. I’m actively trying to get another one, because I need one in my collection.
Haven’t been on for quite sometime.
Yes, that’s definitely Terada’s throw, based on the markings.
That proto looks good though. Looks like a reworked Acrophobia. With weight rims.
i got my negators!
Anyone here order anything from the Japan yoyo day sale from YYR’s website? I just ordered an Ano flaw Blink A- Grade.
I couldn’t say no at the price! Now the waiting for shipping from Japan…
You should post a review. Or a least a brief one here. I don’t do much 2A but I’m curious whether a set so expensive is worth it compared to fireball/raider, loop 1080 etc.
And I’ve never seen a design quite like the Negator.
Hi! Can someone post some pictures of laser?
Here’s a photo of mine.
It’s certainly not hard to find a photo of this particular YoYo though as the link left by MiamiBuddha proves.
Great YoYo !! ;D
I need another for 3A but will have to wait until the fabled anodized versions come out.
They were supposed to be there by now, but there have been troubles at the factory apparently.
There are always trouble at the factory :
Did anyone buy that A- grade Sleipnir that went up on Japanese Yoyo Day? I have been thinking about getting one since its only $100 and there is only a laser engraving, or so it says.
received my Diffusion today
I laughed… “Best plastic yoyo ever” I read everywhere… please!
It’s pretty good, but the only way for it to be the best plastic yoyo is not to take into account those that have weight rings, nor those made of delrin :
But I’m satisfied, it’s like a more performant Prelude
Well yes, yoyos that have metal weight rings or are made of delrin aren’t plastic yoyos.
I thought delrin was plastic, and I’ve always considered weight ringed yoyos plastic as well, if the body is made of plastic, then it’s plastic.
Of course they are.
I agree with this somewhat, as I believe that a delrin yoyo is still plastic. But ones with weight rings should not be considered plastic, they should be considered a hybrid.
Delrin is a particularly tough type of thermoplastic but yes it is plastic. When companies or people describe yoyos as “plastic” though, they almost always mean “exclusively plastic” and in particular “exclusively polycarbonate/ABS.”
Technically you’re right but I don’t think when people say the Diffusion is the best plastic yoyo they are comparing it to Delrin yoyos or metal/plastic hybrids.
By the way what do you think is the best delrin or hybrid? I recently got a couple Diffusions. They’re the first non-4A or 2A plastic yoyos I’ve used.
I’m quite a fan of the yoyojoker delrins, particularly cause you can stick a d-bearing in them. I prefer the perceptor to the exceed.
You don’t find the perceptor too wide? The specs on the exceed look better to me but I’ve never tried either. Usually I don’t like yoyos with a low diameter:width ratio though.
I don’t personally, but I’m a slow laid back thrower. I mean it takes all sorts right I preferred the shape of the perceptor for the way I play and the feel it puts out. The exceed was too, well, plain for me I think. It just felt a bit more bland.
