Just like every other yoyo with similar marking, they are there I assume to line up to have the most smooth play.
I mean the ones on the inner rim.
While I am sure here will always be a need for another plastic yoyo N8dogg is right. The Diffusion is one fantastic yoyo. It is smooth, comfortable and âabsolutely out of this world.â I am really happy to be among one of the first to have one.
How would it compare to say, a rally, or yeti. I realize that the prices and materials are different, but I would still like to know.
How does the diffusion compare to the triad?
Or how does the diffusion compare to the rally, or the crazy-d (similarly priced but a bit more expensive)?
Iâve been thinking about a plastic but Iâd actually like a delrin (which technically is a thermoplastic) better if the performance is good.
im getting mine monday or tuesday, will let you know then!
also have the negators coming in
It is very different than the Rally and the Yeti. Itâs smoother and faster than both. Of the 3 the Yeti is still my favorite. I love the Yetiâs size, stability, material and feel on the string. I rank the Diffusion greater than the Rally and Iâm happy I purchased a Diffusion instead of a white Rally (I already have 2 Rallys anyway).
The Diffusion is smooth and fast. Thatâs really how I would describe the yoyo. Itâs also beautiful. So clear and gorgeous. It plays vastly better than last yearâs Diffusion that it really shouldnât share the same name. The new YYR bearing is also really nice.
Apparently a signature prototype
I donât think Shingo Terada has left Duncan yet, could it be Masahiro Teradaâs? I donât know who heâs sponsored byâŚ
Do you think the Diffusions would be good for practicing 3A? I was going to just buy another Laser but then I realized Iâd end up smashing the hell out of it while practicing initially so I need a less damaging way to learn. But itâs also occurred to me plastic yoyos might break if they collide. Iâve never used any except looping ones which never collided. Do you think the Diffusion is durable enough to handle repeated collisions?
It seems like it really is what I thought, Masahiro Terada used a prototype at YYRFC this year:
I have never played 3A, that being said, the Diffusion product description says this about durability:
âThey used a new manufacturing technique to mold the yo-yo halves out of one solid piece, no side caps, so the hardware is actually built into the yo-yo! This provides a durable and functional designâŚâ
It seems very durable. Itâs very stable. For the price I imagine it could be very good for 3A practice and dings would not damage the throw a very large amount.
I got my Triad in the mail today.
Wow! YYR does it again. Fast, maneuverable, solid and spins like a ⌠Draupnir.
This is the plastic version of the Draupnir. I would have to say this is the best-performing plastic/metal that I have yet tried. I know that some have hesitated over the price. Let me put your mind at ease. This yoyo is worth every penny. Simply a fabulous level of performance from a plastic (or; for that matter; any) yoyo.
I hope that they are able to be sold here at YYE. Everyone should put this beast into their bag. It outperforms most Metal throws on the market that cost twice the price.
Now, I must try a new DiffusionâŚ
I think if they could sell them here theyâd have arrived with the Diffusions. And it looks like the design infringes on YYJâs patent. I mean they never sold Draupnirâs at YYE for the same reason, right?
got my diffusions and traids in the mail today!
Diffusion feels a lot like a lighter dazzler, triad feels like a heavier draupnir.
I lie the lightness of the Draupnir, but I think I could bear a heavier version. Is the Triad as stable as the Draup? I think this would be the only element that would make me buy a Triad rather than a Diffusion.
they are both very stable.
Damnt it!
I was like âeh nice, I donât like the Triad that much, Imma just get a new Diffusion and save a bunch of moneyâ and now I want a Triad badly
TBH the Triad isnât as smooth as the Draupnir or Diffusion. Itâs definitely stable and performs like the Draupnir in many ways. It feels quite weighty as I said before on the string. Iâm thinking because the weight is really concentrated on those rims whereas the Draupnir is more forgiving in that it spreads out the weight a little more albeit having most of the weight from the rims.
Hello everyone! So i am soon to get a Mr butcher in a trade, does anyone have any opinions on it? It will be my second YYR.
On another topic, does anyone know how i could get a Draupnir? Or know anyone that would part with theirs?
Thanks in advance!
