So Kengo was at EYYC and I get to play with their newest yo-yos and talk to him.

Firstly, he confirmed there is STEEL ring in Draupnir and Laser, not 7075 ring as some shops are saying. And as you thought, Draupnir cant be sold in USA due to Yoyojam patents.

On a side note, is it just me or is everyone else unable to give Thanks in this thread?
I have no trouble spotting the Thank You button nearly everywhere else but here.

Not just you, buddy. I’ve noticed that there are a few threads with no thank you buttons anywhere. Perhaps the moderators can shed some light on this?

So, I just got a Messiah, and I’m impressed. It’s not my favorite yoyo in my collection (it’s heavier than I thought it’d be, a little too heavy) but it’s definitely the best performing.

I was asking Kengo about some stuff and they have big plans for future, just working slowly on everything. I was curious if they make some new undersized design and Kengo sad he has some great ideas in mind.

They are also thinking about focusing more on European market, so there will maybe be some cheaper models coming

New Diffusion will also be made in Japan and it’s design is really unique. To get better and smoother play, axle system is placed into form before casting plastic.

Hey WretchedRapture. The clashcube plays actually better than the 6, in my pure honest opinion. More stable and more powerful. Not to mention longer spinning!

Got a picture? I have a bunch of set screws here and might be able to compare the thread pattern/amount and tell you the exacts. I’d guess m4x5mm or 6mm. I’ve also heard M5, but that just seems too thick to me, but maybe since i’ve never owned an earlier Sleipnir so i don’t know.

I liked the Six. I’ve owned 4 in the last year or two i think, but i don’t own any at the moment, which i guess says something. It’s very unique, and a great addition to a YYR collection. The profile, the fact that it’s the only YYR with an axle hole in the cup, the way its rims are just massive. Definitely sort of like a wider Messiah, which makes sense of course. Definitely solid so if you’re into light stuff look elsewhere. For me the Fragment/Uragment covered all my needs in that size realm and i prefer lighter yoyos so that’s why i passed my Sixes on and wouldn’t mind selling my Clashcube. For sure you won’t find another yoyo quite like it though, and the D-bearing just makes it even more unique. I think it’s a real love it or hate it yoyo. I think the weight, width, and shape suit some people really well.

I was able to find a black one similar to the current one, but its a bit short. I might need to go to work and borrow the caliper to measure its length. Do you know the specs of the “10-32”?
