Just curious, do most people buy something for this or do they just send a throw they already own?
You can do either way! I remember last year a few people bought things instead
Most people gave away things they already owned.
I know I’ll be giving something that I already own away, as well as some strings.
I think people involved should post here about what kind of stuff, other than yo-yoing, they are into. I know we have to send at least one throw, only $20 spent, but I have a ton of other stuff people might be interested in, such as video games, iphone and ipad accessories and such, and if I got someone also into that stuff, I might have brand new stuff to send in addition to a yo-yo. If I get someone with similar interests, they will make out like a fat rat. This way, if you get a username, you can read the person’s blurb about their interests to personalize things if you want to. I’m in more of a mood to give and not receive, but if I get info on the person I’m paired up with, I can have more fun with selecting the gift, so I’ll start:

Yo-Yos (obviously)
Music (listening, recording, instruments, related books)
Cubing (I have a huge cube collection, all kinds)
Gaming (I still have a PS3, Xbox 360, PSP 3000, but sold my other systems)
Apple Products (I have Ipad, Ipod Classic, Ipod touch, Iphone)
This also gives the thread crazy bumps, which is cool too, and interesting to find out about people’s interests. 
I like:
yoyos: Especially crazy colorways and breathtaking annodizations.
music: RelientK, Skillet, Monstercat, Toby Mac, Capital Lights, Run Kid Run, etc.
Gaming: Anything nintendo,3DS, wii
Duct tape: Mostly wallet making and selling
Taping myself yoyoing: You know…with a camera? Duh.
and money: Not to be greedy!
