Ty, I suspected 2010 was stargazer v2 but had no clue on 08.

If you wanna share earlier years you know thatā€™d be dope

2006 3a would have been Paul with buzzon bushidos. Also I want to say the YYJ sigma blade zwei for 2005 but Iā€™m not positive. Iā€™m also thinking the original YYJ sigma blade was used in 2004 to win 3a as well.

If someone else wants to do it Iā€™ll add it but too lazy to do it, and Iā€™d prob only know like 10 years anyway

Jensenā€™s win with the Northstar in 2010 was the only one I was dead certain about.

The real question is whether he could have won in 2010 with a Tigershark, and the real answer is probably not.

(But the scrolls speak of the day that one will come who will.)

If someone wins worlds with a Tigershark Iā€™m quitting

Yomega Raider is easily the most dominant yoyo to ever exist lol

Yeah, but you had to mod it within an inch of its life to make it competition worthy, right? I wonder at what point yoyos started being made specifically to play at a high performance level without modification.

I think around 2007.

somebody did though LOL - 2000 Yu Kowanda

I would agree, that was the Year the Great Yuuki Spencer used the 888 to win the 1A World Championships! - which was the HOLY GRAIL of yo-yos back then as well haha - It was the first premium high performance yo-yo you could just use right out of the box without doing anything to it! - I even bought one secretly while I was sponsored by another yo-yo company

I was sad to see all the yuuki 888s with the world winning string in the response end up as b grades.

Thought it was a cool idea that each of his signature 888 would have a piece of string in the response from his world winning freestyle.

Wonder if anyone out there still has one with the original response.

Woahh what do you mean a piece of string in the response? like there were Yuuki Edition 888ā€™s with string response?? LOL

The only yo-yo I remember with the string response was the Original Loop 720ā€™s

They had cut up the string he used to win worlda and had a piece in the sili groove that they then siliconed over

Ben had them at nationals 07 along with an unreleased yuuki 07 888.

The ones with the string in the response were unengraved.

This is the unreleased yuuki 888 from that year. Can tell because itā€™s not matte finish and doesnā€™t have the 2x engraving

I donā€™t have pics of the string in the response b grade though
