I remember reading somewhere that it was the size of a typical fixed axle, but I don’t remember which fixed axle. I think I had butterfly in my head but that feels wrong now that you say that lol

I got mine from a pif but I’m certain @Captrogers printed it. It’s just a very simple plastic tube. Works like a charm. I prefer it to my glued bearing, but it offers virtually zero sleep time, which I’m okay with, at least on my RBC

Printed mine. It’s so tiny :joy: it works really well all things considered. It is giving about 10 seconds sleep time compared to 30 seconds with the stock bearing.

Sleeping with an RBC:

In a bed: Kinda weird, but I’m sure we all forget stuff in our pockets
On a string: Really weird. Why would you do that?
In your body: This is normal. In fact, this is expected. But just in case, I have a stake and a cross handy- DON’T TOUCH ME- I have garlic too. Is minced okay?

Ahh yeah I forgot about those I made a slightly concaved version too but never printed it

Oh that sounds interesting

You could argue that it’s fresh I suppose, but I just don’t really see any other point. I don’t just release a yoyo for money, it has to bring something significant to the table.

I’m really looking forward to the Flying Lemon release next year. That yoyo really does offer something different.

I get that… I do… I also hate it. But I get it…

I love this sentiment. I have a design I’m holding onto for the same reason, starting to think of outsourcing it though to another manufacturer for them to release. I’m intrigued by your bearing size and would very much love to try that to see if it would fit into the design I’m working with mainly because of a weight limitation I’m setting on the design.

it’s a very intriguing design and i like the idea that new throws should attempt something different. i guess I’m just not the strict collector type cuz i dont see myself amassing tons of yoyos that all feel roughly the same. i know I’m probably in the minority and that’s ok with me, but if i can try a new throw and compare it to 3 others i have, then i already have 3 reasons not to buy it :man_shrugging:

I’m focused soley on design gaps or innovation. I can’t stomach releasing performance bimetal after performance bimetal. Bimetals are great, but if you just released a high performance bimetal and then released another, what are you saying? Was the previous one not high performance enough? Does the next one have even higher performance? If you have released 20 over two years, have each successive model beaten the last with performance?

Yes, I know it’s ultimately about making money for these companies, and that is perfectly fine and necessary.

Did you print something stronger than PLA?
