1a had a knot at the bottom of my atlas without knowing threw real hard to get some spin and it come back and numbed my fingers
2a was practicing loops to see how fast I could get and the right one hit me in the head so hard I had a knot on my head for a week

You really have to be careful with those Orbitals!

I hit my funny bone 2 times and it caused half my arm to go numb. I almost whacked myself in the face trying to get a finger spin to return to my hand.

My Basecamp Expedition gave me a nice scar on my forehead. It had quite the snag that I didnât notice until I threw a breakaway and launched back into my face. Fortunately I avoided needing stitches.
Bleeding hand from practicing grinds on a dinged shutter, funny bone 4 times.
I hit the back of my throw hand one time so hard it knocked the breath out of me. I limped back to the couch with a severe pain in my hand that felt hot, throbbing, and prickley and sat there and tried to breathe again.
It was mostly useless for the next week, I couldnt open a jar of jelly to save my life. I couldnt make a fist, I couldnt wiggle my fingers without inducing really sharp pain. I donât know what happened, Ive taken hundreds and hundreds of hits to the back of the hand, but there is this tiny area, maybe 10mm x 10mm square that, ever since, if something hits it, im done!
It only took a couple weeks to go away back to mostly normal, thankfully.
I swear its like it revealed a hidden weakness I have and now know about a vulnerability. It was really eye opening.
My glasses have a bunch of dings in them from yoyos

Throwing while wearing a smart watch, thirty seconds into it and the watch screen is toast. Not one of my brightest moments.
Worst yoyo accident? Accidentally posting the same yoyo accident in two different âyoyo accidentâ threads!
I throw a yoyo that secretly had a not in it. swung around and hit me right in the ear. left my ear ringing all day.
I just love it how your yoyo string âsecretlyâ had a knot in it as if it was trying to hide it from you. Iâm picturing a yoyo in my head with a sly look on itâs face.

I have a pretty high pain threshold but I hit the bone in my lower arm so hard all I could do was sit and do a full body shake. No other accident hurt me that bad.
One time I mistimed my yoyo delivery, and my wife got the package! ;D

Like so many of the other stories here. I had a snag I hadnât noticed. But mine wasnât super bad so the Joyride actually slept but as soon as I tried to get it on the string, it bound up and snapped back and I wasnât ready to catch it. Hit me in my right eye. Not a square hit and not with enough force to do anything more than shock me but I set it down for the evening. I figured Iâd pushed my luck enough.
Had a knot in my dv888, threw it, hit me directly in the eye. Blood went into my eye and I couldnt see for a while. Lots of eye doctor appointments later and Iâm good to go! 
P.S. I threw my dv888 again the day after this all happened 
Tried to do an offstring neck trick in a room with a very low ceiling⌠standing up. Yoyo, meet light bulb. Recently disbanded light bulb, meet floor.
Shattered a light while throwing in a room with a low ceiling. It wasnât horrible but I had a lot of broken glass to pick up afterwards.

Was throwing my basecamp expedition before work one morning and threw a break away to start a new trick. Didnt know I had a snag until it hit me in the the corner of my eye opposite of my throw hand. Saw a flash of light when it hit and instantly felt the pain. Dropped to one knee to gather myself. After a few moments, I walked to the bathroom to get a look at the damage. So lucky I was throwing a ârounder?â yoyo. I think a more angular yoyo wouldâve split the skin. I had a nice red welt for a few hours and the area around my eye was sensitive and had a yellowish tint for a few days. Glad it didnât go all out black eye. That would be fun to explain haha! Learned a valuable lesson and I pay attention now after a questionable or new to me bind. I thought splitting out chunks of fingernail past the quick and scarring knuckles were bad enough but I definitelty know different now. Iâm thinking if yoyo expert put out a full coverage helmet in some cool colors that I would own one. Maybe match to my favorite throws? No matter the color, I certainly need it lol.
