Okay, this contest has gotten me intrigued…
No…haha, not going “away” on vacation…I just won’t have to go to work for a few weeks. ;D Maybe I’ll make a few trips to the states close by, but day or weekend trip, nothing major. I’m still working on some ideas. I’ll keep you posted.

We do it once a year and meet up in a old log cabin with our cousins.
Today I was offered a job as an online sales associate for a trucking company. It’s commission based.
Most of the time, people steer away (no pun intended) from commission based jobs. However, sales are my forte and i’m willing to give it a shot.

Congratulations. That is great news. One thing I like about commission based jobs, is that you get extra credit for working hard and bringing in business. That always pays off, if you are a go getter.
One of my favorite stores used to be Guitar Center. I got friendly with one of the guys in the store, and knew they worked on commission. But, on this one day, I went to a new location, where there was a bigger store. I walked in, knowing I wanted this specific guitar that they had. So, I walked in the store, and just walked around a bit, wondering who would be the lucky guy to ask me if he could help me with something. One guy looked at me, and passed, probably thinking I didn’t have the “I want buy something” look. The next guy saw me and asked me if he could help me with something. I asked for the guitar, and was at the register in two minutes. The look on the guy’s face was like. ;D That was easy. The first guy who passed was in shock. That day, it was the luck of the draw. The first one with the opportunity to ask, did not ask. The lazy guy passed on the sale.

Yay contest coming up! Cant wait!
Okay guys, the barbecue was fun, and I’m back now! We won’t be doing it by Skype or chat because I’m too old to be Skyping you guys. If anyone old, who is not your family member, wants to Skype you guys over the internet…run like the wind.
I want the contest limited to the young people who have already expressed some interest in this thread topic. So the potential participants have already posted in here. As long as there are 3 people or more, it’s a go. So far, Abby, Legyoyo, BCmaddog and Stringking expressed some interest in having a contest. It will be almost like a forum game show. The thing is, I’m looking for certain things in your answers. So, it’s not about what’s the only answer to the questions, it’s about you giving me the answer I’m looking for. So yes, it’s a subjective kind of thing, but I hope you will learn something from it in the end.
I just want everyone who wants in to post in that regard, so we will confirm who the contestants will be. Then, we’ll go from there.

I will post a hypothetical question. All contestants will PM me their answer, so that the other contestants cannot see their response. After all answers have been received via PM, they will be posted in the thread, and made public for all to see. I will then reveal what I was looking for in your answers. Your answers will be scored, and the person with the most points at the end…wins. Answer using the honor system. Please do not consult with adults or friends. This was designed to encourage you to think on your own, and learn something in the process.
