Hmmm…I’ll post the questions up, and then you guys can ask questions for clarification in the thread if you need to. Then, you can put your answers only in the PMs. Then, I will compile the answers into one post and put them in the thread for all to see. This is less about scoring per se, but picking the best answers in order of the best first, and letting you know why I picked them. Best job overall gets first prize. All a subjective standard. I will ask others not to answer unless they are involved in this, and to save their comments for after the question is answered by the contestants.

As for how long to answer, I’ll give you time, in case something comes up. There is no “right” answer to these. But, there are certain elements I’d be looking for, to see if you’re thinking how you should…from a business perspective. While the answer should be well thought out, it should not take more than ten minutes to formulate an answer and write it in a PM.
As long as those participating are tuned into this thread, and answer within 24 hours, this should not take more than a few days to complete. Just remember, you’ve entered the boardroom, so being professional means being tuned into the thread to be ready if a question is here. Just like in business, you have to check your notes and messages to keep up with what’s going on and communicate with customers, business partners, suppliers and so on. So, one of your tasks will be checking in at least once a day, to see if anything is new in the thread. One of your competitors (the contestants) might ask questions in the thread, and you don’t want them to get tips you don’t have. So, just be tuned in the next several days.

I think there is a spectrum of ages and grade levels participating, so I want to level out the playing field somewhat for the group of you. You have been taking lots of orders for your Beggyoyo holsters. The holsters have been doing well, and you are a bit back logged with orders. There are three holsters left to make. You also have papers to write for school, and things your parents want you to do. It takes you awhile to make a holster, so you have to manage your time wisely and decide which person to make and send a holster to first:
John has been a long time customer. He bought several holsters in the past, and is very understanding. He explained that he wants another holster to match an outfit that he plans to buy.
Susan is a new customer. She never bought a holster until now, and she was referred by a friend. You never met her, but you know that she wants the holster for a yo-yo contest at the end of the week.
Mike has never purchased a holster, but referred many customers to you in the past. He wants a free holster to show to future prospective new customers. You agreed to make the holster for free, for this purpose.
In what order will you make and ship these holsters, as promised to these people, and why?

You said it takes “a while” to make a holster, could you give a more specific answer to how long it takes to make a holster? This could be very important to my decision.
