Haha! Although not a type of gun, the El Ranchero would look dandy in a holster, too. 
Me, I like the name “holster” regardless of what’s in it!
I have to admit that I like a “serious” look and vibe. I don’t tend to like bright colors as much, or anything too “busy” with a bunch of logos and all that. I just felt like the $7 holder market was not for my demographic. I tend to go for eye catching but in a simple way. That’s why for the project with Legyoyo, I chose no bright colors, just black or black/silver…basic. I think it matches everything you could possibly wear, as black usually does. Legyoyo found a unique design that brings it out, and the trigger snap is nice and shiny, so it has a nice balance.
I have to visit USPS first thing in the morning. Due to some mishap, I have to track down my package of the new holsters from Legyoyo. Typical USPS error I’m sure. I’m hoping that gets sorted, and I can do the photos and post to Instagram tomorrow. Marketing…wave 2.
I don’t own one yet…but I love that El Ranchero. Such an awesome looking yo-yo.

I’d just like to say that I’m very happy with the way the project with Legyoyo turned out. I think they’re definitely worth the wait. It was totally fun. I just dropped these photos on Instagram, and hope that it will help market these great paracord holders.

What exactly is a “HOLDer?”
Something that holds it. Yeah, a holster holds a yoyo, but a Holder in
My mind would be somthing like a small pouch, a mini Yoyoexpert bag, or something that conceals the yoyo inside of it.
A holster shows it.
Holsting (hosting) it for a show, or SHOWING that it is there. Trying to show off.
The host, is the holster. He is showing everyone and making the yoyo visible to others…
If that makes sense haha!?!?

I thought about this a lot since yesterday. Well, they call them “yo-yo holders” so that’s kind of specific. A “case” or “bag” is what the bags are usually called or specifically “yo-yo case” or “yo-yo bag.” I probably would call a holster something that involves a “quick draw” of the yo-yo from it’s location. Most are leather too, so I debated the whole term for awhile. I like the sound of it, but I guess it was more the function that threw me off. My release is awful quick, no gun, although it’s leather, but I still wouldn’t call it a holster.
Now for the Mirriam Webster definition of those words:
Holder:
1
: a person that holds: as
a (1) : owner (2) : tenant
b : a person in possession of and legally entitled to receive payment of a bill, note, or check

: a device that holds
Holster:
hol·ster
: a leather case that you wear on your body and that holds a small gun
Well, that sums up my reason for going with holder. :-\ Now, we can call things whatever we want…you know we’re free to do so, but I always wondered why people chose one or the other for the yo-yos. Holster certainly sounds cooler. 8)
Hate to double post, but sometimes it’s best to separate things out. I have a question for BC and Legyoyo. How washable is the paracord? A few of my items have white or silver. If it gets dirty, can I throw it in the laundry…maybe in a pocket of some sweats or something?
Also, I noticed something. I really love the all black yo-yo holster. That one is my favorite. With paracord, you have to burn the ends, and the burnt ends look black and shiny on black paracord. On the colors, it’s like a brownish color that takes away from aesthetics a bit.
It took me like 3 tries to spell the word aesthetics…pathetic. Kinda rhymes. I’ll put that in one of those rap songs I write. Anyway…back on topic…
I really, really like the look of the black. The other colors are pretty too…especially red, but that black is out of this world. Oh, and BC, I turned your bracelet inside out and snapped it together. These may be reversible if you get locks next time that are not curved to the wrist like those. It went from red, white and black…to just red and black.
