my friend has a 2012 supernova and a yomega hot shot so he thinks thaqt he has the best yoyo on the face of the earth. now here i come with a clyw cheif and my yoyo factory 08 888x and then he tells me how much better the supernova is than any clyw. (meanwhile he doesnt go to contests so he doesnt use ANYTHING else) that REALLY ticks me off. >:( >:( >:( >:(

Iâve heard a lot of stories like this, and they never cease to amaze me. I canât even imagine an adult walking up to me and saying âGive my kid a yoyo!â. And that story about the MVP studio42 posted a while ago was just unbelievable. Different mentalities, i guessâŚ

one of my biggest pet peeves in general is when im watching a yoyo video, and people ask âwhat is the yoyo they are usingâ when it CLEARLY says it in the description rage face

So I have one yoyo related pet peeve:
When string centering bearings play responsive. This idea just drives me nuts.
i wished a CLYW X Turningpoint gold plated FHZ with adamantium weight rings modded with rice stacks and has a terraspin tenball concave jet propelled flux capacitor turbo bearing was real.

My biggest Pet-Peeve is when people compare plastic to metal by saying âIt plays like an all Metal yoyoâ, which is a terrible analogy.
The only difference I find between the two different kind of materials is the way they grind.

Idk as a new thrower and someone that plays a lot of yoyos I definitely see a big difference in play between most plastics and metals. There are a few plastics that play (feel on string, feel and follow through on the throw, and return smack when it hits my hand, ect.) like a metal and there are others that definitely feel like a plastic.
Like the rally it feels much like my majesty in how it hits the string and how it hits the hand in return also how the interacts with the trick. So Iâd say there is credibility to the âthis plastic plays like a metal.â But the YYJ surge plays and feels much different then a metal (I love the surge) but it just doesnât feel the same as metal throw it feels much different the throw and how it plays in the string and through the trick just feels not quite as solid.
Yoyo snobs (in this thread and elsewhere). Just so weâre all clear, how good should you be before youâre allowed to buy a high-end yoyo or write a yoyo review?
