Who would I like to sponsor me?
yoyofactory is a bit obvious, so I’m gonna say that I think I would like Either one drop, SF, or Yoyo Friends to sponsor me

What’s a cat gotta do to get sponsored by Starbucks? That way my addiction can be funded for free.

I would like to be sponsored by Retic, SF, or YoYoFactory.

I’d like to be sponsored by Goldwater Brewing, Adidas, Spinworthy, and all creative outlets of @chaosgow including unbranded one-offs.

@Glenacius_K and Jordan certainly have my address already, so I’ll keep an eye on my mailbox for that sponsorship package.

You never know

I think players of all skill levels can show worth to be sponsored. I’ve recommended people for UNPRLD that show promise in either competition or in having a cool style down the line. Potential is a strong factor. We actually don’t have a single national/world champion on the team besides the owner Tyler Hsieh, so our team isn’t really ‘all-star’ in terms of results. I love it though

Get back to me when you win worlds, I’ll be down then. Is that unreasonable?

I remember asking myself this question years ago, and at the time it was between Throwdown YoYos, SPYY, CLYW and yoyojam.

I liked Throwdown because I thought the YoYos they made were fantastic (apart from the infamous delrin). SPYY where a great company that had a wide range of designs and some cool players on the team already. CLYW at the time were the high end brand of YoYos that always produced very sought after and original designs. And yoyojam used to be my go to company that I got a lot of my first YoYos from. They made some great plastics like the speedmaker and I loved the original Dark Magic which was really my first advanced yoyo. It was seeing a video made by Grant Johnson that inspired me to start yoyoing and Andre still has some of the most informative trick videos out there. They really have a lot into the community.

Sadly, all but CLYW are gone and I even feel that CLYW isn’t the same company it was (not that they are bad now, I do really like them, they just feel different to me and I’d still be honoured to be sponsored by them).

So that being said, if I could choose to be sponsored by a company now, it would be a toss up between CLYW, A-RT and TMBR.

I’ll always hold CLYW in high regard and they’ve got some outstanding players today. It would be rad to go and hang out with the A-RT crew, Jensen and Charles, and they have made some great throws and trick videos too. I’m a really big fan of TMBR and everything that Colin makes is a playable work of art in itself.

To be honest, being sponsored by any company in this hobby would be a delightful honour.

I don’t want to be sponsored by anyone. I love all yoyos and I’m happy to purchase the ones I want and support the makers. If I were good enough to compete I still don’t think I would want to be sponsored although it would be nice for contest travel to have monetary support. I really appreciate everyone making yoyos and I don’t really have a favorite company.
