Hey 000…. Yoyo expert has the Recess FirstBase for around $30 or less….
You get an unresponsive bearing & a responsive bearing…. So you can play both ways since many start young with responsive.yo-yos….then later start unresponsive…. It is organic shaped and is able to handle everything you can throw at it! Very stable and sound purchase! It’s up to you tho……
Am I the only one that found the Recess FB a bit light? I tried it once, and that was my reaction.

Yeah that was exactly the case for me too. Overall it’s a great plastic and definitely performs well but it’s just a bit to light for me.

So onto YoYos you can buy,
Arrow does everything you describe. Get some string and some thick lube for responsive play and you are set.
