I was thinking to myself that I need a padded glove to play responsive, especially at the start I was bruising my hand too often, until the friction stickers wore out. And I thought it would be funny to wear a helmet for the video

This is my all time favorite yo-yo video that uses the Freehand 1 (FH1). It floods me with nostalgia from back in the early 2000’s when I use to yo.

I had a FH Zero back in the day and just used one Duncan silicone sticker and lube before I nodded it. I could get through all the beginner/intermediate tricks at the time. You just gotta power throw and play clean. I could get at good 30 to 40 second spins while doing tricks.
