Well, my sister confirmed that she bought what I asked for, so I definitely can’t wait for Christmas now (we don’t really surprise each other anymore, just give each other some choices within a price limit). So I’ll be unwrapping a TMBR Baldwin (oak laminate with bubinga veneer face), 100 cotton strings, and 100 kitty XL for my bearing throws. So pumped.
Also, won’t be for Christmas, but I plan on buying one of the new splashed Horizons before the Winter Giveaway is over. Possibly some more bearings too, and considering buying another CZM8 since I gave mine away in secret Santa. I get paid the day after Christmas, so I’ll likely order them that day, and they’ll technically still count as for the holidays because it’s before the new year.
Lastly, my Secret Santa gift should be showing up tomorrow, so I’m pumped for that too.
My chief plays heavier than the first run, but floaty as a bonfire
It’s a good yoyo for the price, but I wish it was heavier I think it would make the spin time so much better and the play smoother. However, it’s still a great addition and I like the shape and the way it feels when it plays because you can go really fast with it.
Couldn’t agree more with this. Its really nice, but after using the berserker ss for a while my gradient feels insanely light. All perspective, I know. Very nice throw, would just like it to be a bit heavier.
And thus the trend for heavier yoyos began. You guys can know you were at ground zero! 
I still prefer light yoyos. Which is part of why I dig the Gradient! It won’t spin as long as a Berzerker SS. But it will be lighter. The lightness is the benefit in and of itself!
