Plutonium is my favorite so far as well! With Ka-Pow and Alphaline tied for second. But I’ve more strings to try out!

If you like softer string Kitty is the way to go. Sochi has better tension control and is slightly better for whips and slack, but they don’t sell it long enough for my liking.
I think im going to pick up some plutonium to try.

I’d recommend the YYSL sampler pack, it’s got five different flavors of string to try out and you might discover that you’ve got different preferences for different throws! For instance I realized that I like Venom best for my Expedition but it’s too thin for my Speedaholic XX or Graviti Vulcan which get the majority of my playtime.

I get frustrated with gap variations in yoyo(s) paired with response pad types. Someone worked it out for me,; plutonium can’t be used with everything, you know?

I personally think that Sochi will be better
I like Sochi. And it seems the boring white is softer than any colored string I’ve tried. (Black feels super stiff, but can be an interesting feel still, and looks pretty good on certain throws) The lighter colors like lime, yellow, light pink, light blue are close, but not quite as soft, even after broken in some. I’d like to try giving my white strings a tie dye look with fabric markers. But I feel like that could affect the way it plays. We’ll see…
