I held off for a while but when YYF had a sale earlier this summer I figured it was worth a gamble. It and the R-Type (monometal version) are truly fantastic competition geared yo-yos.

Ah, bummer. They did have that large YoYoFriends sale w/ the mystery b-grades so I guess that kind of took its place. Either way, Black Friday is always their best sale of the year imo, so there’s that to look forward to at least!

I’m in the same boat. DS and 10balls. Have you tried the boss bearing by G2? I thinks it basically a 10 ball with a slotted concave profile. Super quiet and smooth as all get out.

i’ve tried it in basically every G2 i’ve ever bought and take it out almost immediately. i really dislike the way grooved concave force the string into one side or the other because it keeps the loop centered even with more string in the gap, i get more snags with them than other bearings. with that said, G2’s bearings (ripper and rage) are both really high quality 10 ball bearings.

I skipped the Abel as I picked up a Noah. The Dunk Rebound I got recently has been excellent. Nice batch of new throws you got.

I don’t understand what a Luftverk 000 TI7068 is. The 000 isn’t a bi-metal, so why are two different metals in the name?

The 000 TI7068 is a bimetal interpretation of the 000.
It’s a 7068 body with a titanium ring inside the rim. The placement is interesting though, it’s kind of like the 2sick knight where the bimetal rim is wedged in a groove in the center of the rim, instead of being on the inside or outside.
