What?!?!?! Daniel Dietz changing sponsorship??????

Probably $100 or less… I don’t think they’d go higher than that. They’re still new at this and they wouldn’t want to set the price too high or else a lot of people won’t buy it thinking it won’t be any good simply because yomega’s focus hasn’t been on high ends since recently.

However, I do think Yomega is really stepping in the right direction. Can’t wait to see what they put out next.

They were at the top of their game way back when… They need to get back there, and Dietz is right there to help them out. I’m happy for them, and hope to see great things from them once again in the future.

It’s a shame the same can’t be said for Yomega themselves.

With their latest releases, I can definitely see them maturing as a company.

Maybe their products are catching up to what was going down 5 years ago. Doesn’t change the fact that company has zero respect for us.

And this proves that you in fact know nothing, and are making assumptions.
Think before posting in the future, and do your research.

Research? On what, things that I was present for? They left the sourest of tastes in a lot of peoples mouths with their actions and words. I don’t see why we should all of a sudden be super stoked to support them again, just because they’re throwing a little money at a respected player again? Shmeh.

Yomega is no friend, plain and simple. Is Alan still running that company? What a joke.

Again, shows how much you know.
Alan left the company and yomega has been under new leadership for some time now.
They have donated much time, money, and product to growing the yoyo community quite a bit over the last year, and have done WAY more than you probably have done or ever will do.
Even during Alan’s ownership, they continued having players such as OOCH go to do school demo’s and promote yoyoing in a positive way with a positive message for kids to take home. They have been largely supporting players and taking much feedback from the community in the recent (yoyoradio interview with the newer CEO showed just how much they are doing to take a step forward)
Yomega has stepped it up, the past is done, and it’s time to move on, as trying to stick with the past is almost as bad as war veterans who still hate other countries, except even more foolish. If I offended anyone with that statement, take a chill pill.

Brett aka “Ooch” is an awesome guy, he makes me proud of Yomega.

He’s seriously an awesome guy. He came to my school years back and he said some really awesome stuff.

Just putting it out there. He came to my school 5+ years ago before I started yoyoing lol

Maybe you’re the one who needs a chill pill. If other people aren’t allowed to be upset over your post maybe you shouldn’t get so worked up over mine. I’m allowed to not like Yomega as much as you’re allowed to like tthem.

Ill never buy Yomega same as ill never buy Alex Kim product. 'Cause their names have been mangled as far as I care. Wanna tell me how wrong I am about Alex, so I can continue not giving a damn that you throw my opinions off as useless?

I wonder what my contributions as an individual have to do with this discussion… oh, that’s right. Nothing at all. Just Josh doing all he can to make anyone with a differing opinion seem irrelevant and valueless.

Actually, Josh is entirely correct. Yomega has been under new leadership for a while. Sure, it’s hard to forget and “get over” what was done in the past, but the people involved in that are no longer associated with the company.

Personally, I think Yomega is doing a fantastic job on many levels.

So what your telling us is that your closed minded and can’t let go of what happened long ago?

Fair enough

You’re holding a company responsible for the actions of an individual whom they no longer associate with. I’m sure those currently in charge of Yomega regret the actions that occurred several years ago, but that’s long done now. They’re moving on as a company and you’re just being stubborn by whining about things that are extremely irrelevant now.

It’s not that Josh is disrespecting you for having a differing opinion - it’s that your opinion is completely illogical, unreasonable, and ignorant. Additionally, why are you bringing up Alex Kim? The actions of Yomega and the actions of Alex Kim are completely incomparable. Josh doesn’t need any help making your opinion seem irrelevant because you’re doing that yourself by bringing up completely irrelevant points.

No one is contesting your right to like Yomega. They are simply defending Yomega because you are slandering them over something that some individuals who are no longer associated with Yomega did a long time ago. You’ve already proven that you know very little about the subject - save yourself the embarrassment of being a charlatan throwing accusations about what you’re unfamiliar with.

It seems the you felt it necessary to bring negativity into the thread from the beginning and proceeded to continue to put them down in every post you’ve had in this thread. I’ll admit that I also tend to avoid yomega but didn’t see the need to come in here and start bashing other people and start up an argument

Selling out is a term used by wannabe yoyo hipsters; aimed at yoyoers who pay the bills.

Another yoyoer blowing things way out of proportion and whining about things that shouldn’t even matter anymore. Why do you kind of people enjoy conflict so much?

Actually, Yomega is growing by leaps and bounds as a company and I fully support their new leadership and direction.

And before you whine whine whine, remember this: No one there slighted YOU, personally, but I was actively and publicly attacked, repeatedly, by their former President. If I can get over it, surely you can, too.

Yomega has grown tremendously, and left behind their antagonistic ways. It would be awesome if you did the same.

Ok he kinda has a point with Alex Kim. Ive told myself I’d never purchase something direct even though his scamming ways seem to have gone he takes 3 months to ship. Other than that, go Rec Rev and Yomega ! Really excited to see what they do with this next release.
