Sunrise fade 54

Iā€™ll spend some quality time with my D10.

My trusty Manatee and Kenshin.

What is the case?

The case is a camera lens case - Kenko Aosta lens case 100 black PO01-BK. Itā€™s a hard case and quite durable. It fits 2 yoyos perfectly with a divider in the middle. You should be able to find it on Amazon or eBay.

Ive got one very similar designed for yoyos called ā€œREWIND YO-YO CASEā€ i cant link it cause, obvi. but its great!

After a sweet trade this showed up today. I see why everybody loves it.

Its noisy and it eats strings, but Iā€™m working on intermediate tricks and being able to adjust the response is very useful at the moment.

A lot of wooly marmot today

Okay, so recently, I decided to try out offstring play. I learned how to do a 4A Forward Mount Pass, and I figured out on my own how to do the 4A Barrel Roll. Learned those tricks on my Henrys Viper AXYS.

Today, I used my YoYoFactory One to practice those tricks. To my delight, the Oneā€™s celcon body doesnā€™t get any dirt on it when I miss, because celcon is known to be a low-friction plastic.

Yeah, I know, some of you might be thinking, ā€œIsnā€™t the YYF One a little small for offstring play?ā€

True, but I also tried out the 4A Forward Pass Mount on my Duncan Butterfly XT, which is also ā€œa little smallā€ for offstring play. Not only that, but people used to use 1A yo-yos for 4A play back in the 1990s.
