Toxic yoyo Strings

Got a couple new colors in on the HazMats today Check them out on our Facebook site

Theses strings are definitely interesting and worth getting. I got radiation orange yesterday because thats all yye had at the time. At first they are very hard and stiff and it took me an hour to break it in with heavy play. I’ve never seen a string whip through the air so freaking fast. like it is its own counterweight. I still have a horrible time trying to land a single green triangle because it goes around so fast but so I have no choice but to do double and triple green triangles. and they land like ive been doing all my life! Dont know if thats entirely bad but wow. Its such a rough string yet through all my pulling and whipping and such ive yet to get a burn without gloves. I dont even know how thats possible. Ham string would have surely burned me by know with what I was doing. These strings make fast play easy play. my speed has almost doubled and yet I still have complete control. Before this I didnt think differences in poly were to great of a difference. Some slack better and otheres loop better. toxic takes it to a whole new level and improves all aspects of string. The only drawback is they seam to have made my yoyo a lot more responsive on certain tricks but that may be me not hitting it just right. Im definitely improving at a faster rate. Buy these strings. Better control, better binds, easier whips and slacks, better speed.

Thank you for the review on our string.

Evan

I just thought I’d post to thank Evan for this great string. I’m still learning to play, but I’ve found that Toxic strings are by far my favourite to play with (compared to Hamstring and YYSL Type X) and that they can handle anything I’ve thrown at them.

Also Evan, if you’re ever considering adding a new colour to your range - think pink! Pink is the only reason I still order Type X alongside my Toxic strings, (I’m serious… ::)).

Nice.

I would pay double for a long version (54" or more) of superbright pink Toxic Yoyo strings.

Dang.

Almost out of strings.

And i got no money to buy strings with now.

I’ve found toxics in particular wash up really well. running them through a wash/dry cycle brings them back to life.

(of course that only works if they’re not frayed by a rough unpolished string zone)

Really? Some of my MarkMont Dragon Strings are pretty dirty. How exactly do you do it?

I figure that PINK toxic string would wash great…

I’m also quite curious as to how you would get string through the wash… Do you just leave them in you trouser pocket before you throw them in the wash?

I actually have never tried Toxic strings, I really need too, but I got no money, and I am almost out, hopefully I can wait. I don’t know, otherwise I might not be yo-yoing for a while.

I tried a toxic string at school on a friend’s yoyo and it was amazing, on par with the string I make which I consider the best string ever.

…then I went on YYE last night and it was out of stock.

DANGIT

I just throw them in the wash with the rest of my laundry. Works great. They do get a bit twisted together, but easy to get them apart.

Love love love my new HAZMAT! it’s full size with so much play. You can feel the yoyo without it being a cadillac…if you know what I mean. Plus I got a nice color way; bronze atom. Its stable and fun. I was able to take advantage of the grenade offer and it has become one of my daily throws.

Thanks Heather glad you like it

I wish I was I had a facebook or twitter.

I know I wrote a good review on toxic strings and I DON’T want to take away from that but I tried toxic in my Dietz and it became responsive. my knuckles are starting to hurt bad. when I go back to my highlights and hamstring it’s dead unresponsive again. Tried putting on the one from my code 2 because its broke in and same thing, responsive knuckle killer. It’s to thick I think. Works fine in the code 2. Undersize vs. regular size. I don’t know. I do know there are different strings available like the dragonstring. But the dragon is type 14 which is way thick. Is there a smaller string that toxic makes that whips through the air just as well but is the thickness of like type 6?

Are you sure that’s the string’s fault? Try cleaning the bearings from the YoYos and try again. It can’t see how changing the string could make a YoYo that much more responsive…
