Anyone else notice that there has been an overwhelming amount of people inheriting throws, finding them, roommates leaving them lately? Often surrounding circumstances meant to play on your emotions, your collection, or your wallet?
On an unrelated note, it seems some unscrupulous folks have takin to leaving each other empty positive feedback. Of course that’s a difficult thing to prove so your own discretion is extremely encouraged. There are other ways to validate sales.
I’m sure I’m not telling you anything you can’t see for yourself, or don’t already know. It’s just unfortunate Protect yourself, nothing wrong with asking for a lot of pics. If a seller has an issue with that, that’s super suspect.
For the record, I’m not pointing fingers at anyone. Obviously I’m not omnipresent, I don’t know what has or hasn’t happened. Can’t believe I gotta add that, but there ya go.
Tuggin on the heart strings twice by telling you a story and showing you something you’ve been wanting for ages.(not saying everyone is like that) Buy smart, ask for tons of pics, buy G&S for safety if untrustworthy or just not at all. I’ve learned my lesson
I’m not saying it isn’t real, but a situation yesterday really tug at mine brah. On some real ■■■■. What’s crazy is someone else just did that!?!? A dead relative thing!!! Frickin grimey.
It’s just a really ugly thing to do. I know, it’s 2026 and maybe I’m being naive, but it’s still super lame.
It’s likely just one or two people behind multiple accounts, but still… highly annoying. Copy and pasting my suggestion from the sketchy BST post earlier:
Genuine question because I know my account is relatively new and I tend to do feedback in batches. Not trying to raise red flags that aren’t actually there by accidentally seeming shady so any help with that would be appreciated
Hey guys, I inherented the very first yoyo. Yup, from the guy himself. It’s pretty neat, made of rock and all. I can see where the improvements went. Can be yours for only $80,000,000
I’ve only heard stories of Joe Yo. I assumed he was in the same category as Sasquatch but after seeing this 100% verifiable sale of the very first yoyo I suspect the tales were no mere childrens bed time story.
He’s really out there. But it begs the question. . . .where did he come from? Where did he go?
