i agree. Had some good moves but couldn’t keep it clean enough. Ben was it? He had some crazy moves and clean work. Looked like he was enjoying himself which makes the difference when showing a good performance.
Predictions for 4a? I think the second naoto and the second onishi champion in 4a just occurred. Naoto Onishi and Ben were almost perfect so I’m going naoto for 1st and ben for second with rei in 3rd.
Really hoping Ben did enough, his was the most entertaining but that obviously isn’t the criteria for winning Worlds. All of the other routines (except for the SoloHam stuff) looked so similar, it got very boring.

I’m a little nervous for takeshi, that restart at the end… I don’t know whether to root that jake won or that takeshi will win 1a and 5a.
Jake was not flaw less. I think it will be Sora firt then Bryan then either Jake or Takeshi. With luck Takeshi will win 1a but I am so sad that he might not take first in 5A. :‘( :-[ :’(

Takeshi just wasn’t good enough to keep that title, but he was good enough to at least podium if they don’t score Bryan higher for cleanliness
I want rei to win again so bad. He is amazing using 2 yoyos. He should get some major bounds points for that

1A Thoughts:
(modifying as it goes)
Takeshi: not clean enough, too many missed tricks 
Zach: dayum, that was basically an amazing yoyo dance, it was paired so well with the music
HS: clean and speedy as always, however there was a yoyo change in there, and some questionable bits
Ahmad: crazy smooth slacky tech in there, however there were a few hiccups and the 2 yoyo changes will hurt
Anthony: amazing rojas style, one restart, but probably the most amazing music sync, even after seeing gormleys earlier performance o_o
Janos: janos magic as always. wasn’t the cleanest of performances, but janos has really improved his stage presence since 2014
Luis: clean. luis. yes.
Yamato Murata: clean, tech-y, speedy, overall just great
Yusuke Otsuka: not as clean as he usually is, but still solid and elegant style,
Yusuke Pt 2: much cleaner this time around. bangerless elegant ending, uninterrupted this time
Iori Yamaki: super slick super speedy style, crazy horizontals
Shion Araya: really good yoyo control as always, however, not as clean as he was throughout the previous rounds
Ryuichi Nakamura: good. great. clean. smooth. great. 1st going into finals for a reason, might take it all
Gentry: other than an early restart, just solid gentry throughout, plenty of new tricks, excellent use of music
