Here are the results.

Stayed up till midnight.

Darn- I’m so bummed that Paul Kerbel didn’t make it. While the super fast styles of many Japanese players are extremely impressive, they don’t really capture my interest anymore. I’m much more of fan of unique, banger-heavy styles like Paul Kerbel’s, especially when they have some acrobatics thrown in. I was also really disappointed to see that my second favorite player, Evan Nagao, didn’t make it through prelims-- lots of disappointments this year. Still, it good to see that Luis Enrique did well- of all the semifinal freestyles, his was my favorite. Also, that perfectly timed bind at the end of Anthony Rojas’s freestyle was awesome.

They really needed to start the music right after the announcer finished saying their name.

It’s worth noting Takumi Yasumoto finished 2nd in the 3A Semis and 1st in the 4A Semis. Very hyped to see his routine.

Patrick BORGERDING and shu qualified more then good for me. But yeah bummed for Tyler and ky.

When will finals start according to Indian time?

I am downright shocked that Andrew Maider didn’t make it to finals. In my opinion he absolutely killed it!

Actually I think they should start the music Before the players name is announced.

That way when that clown reads off the name and Totally screws up the proper pronunciation of the players name, I won’t hear it.

If I practiced all year for the chance to throw in Front of a Worldwide audience for a few fleeting MInutes I sure wouldn’t want to hear some sucker screw up my name.

True statement.

Do they wait till the end to announce the winner of women’s division? Or has it all ready been announced?

Shouldn’t the finals be starting soon?

Yes.

Okay, from what I have seen:

1A: Toss up between almost everyone. I think it will be a high skill-leveled competition. My overall pick goes to Gentry Stein.

2A: I am rooting for Shu Takada, but Shinji Saito and Takuma Yamamoto both are really good as well.

3A: I am interested to see how Hajime Miura does after not doing so well at Japan Nats, but I think he will do well and so will Alex Hattori and Tukumi Yasumoto.

4A: I think Rei Iwakura will place high, if not win it again, but the top 4 from prelims also have a shot (Takumi Yasumoto, Michael Nakamura, Naoto Onishi, and Zac Rubino)

5A: Believe it or not, I think Bryan Jardin may have this division. Takeshi and Bryan will certainly be duking it out for first place as long as neither of them make any major mistakes.

AP: It’s really hard to tell who will win this division. Personally, I like InMotion because of their usual comedy they throw (pun intended) in there.

This is kinda exciting. Haven’t seem a comp live before.

Stream is up for me

Forgive my ignorance, but where’s Gentry?

He won worlds last year so he has a seed to finals.
