I like how it’s not ok to bash clyw in their manufacturer thread but bashing yyf in their thread is perfectly fine

Where do you see me bash the company? Because I did no such thing. I said it was overpriced, which is an opinion and not really bashing them. I said multiple times they make good yoyos and they play great but I don’t agree with the raised and in MY opinion overpriced yoyos. Doesn’t mean they’re bad yoyos or a bad company. As far as business they got it down pact since they can basically sell for whatever they want and all the fanboys will still buy them all. I enjoy my wooly markmont and I enjoy Pre-chief CLYW’s and the company before Chris made the chief and quit his job. Once those prices skyrocketed I was over it.

I think the yeti looks cool, although I hate it in black. I probably would like this yoyo and probably would want this over a rally based on my preferences. However the price is the only thing that will keep me from getting it. Can I afford it, yes. I however fail to see the price being justified and worth the price. If people say Chris said he will lower the prices after the first run (which I highly doubt he will) then I will be waiting to find one. I won’t buy one new but I may bst one if I find one for a price I feel it’s worth.

It’s like people who freak out about buying $10 bearings for their $100+ yoyo’s. Yoyoing is expensive no matter what. 20-30 extra dollars is hardly a reason to be anti CLYW.

Just like SaltySalvador was trying to say, stop crying about their prices, it won’t help with anything, all it does is make the people who make the yoyos sad, and hurting their dreams to continue making them.

Find it too expensive? Don’t buy it, don’t cry about it! Specially on the manufacturer’s thread.

It’s not possible it’s a reality. I asked Chris on FB a while ago and he said that it was in the works I’m expecting a October release (hopefully)

That’s one thing I love about yo-yoing! I can get some of the best yoyos in the world for less than $200

If you want you can survive purely on yoyos around $40!

I don’t normally post in these kind of threads without reason, leaving it to the manufacturers themselves, but I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in and say that I’m really intrigued by CLYW using new materials, and will try and purchase solely on that basis. I think it’s both innovative and indulgent, and a nice little touch. Oh, and I’m sure it’ll play well too…
